Oh no... thats not good. I'm so sorry that happened to you. I'm worried now about Randy. I emailed him on sunday about the DP pics and i haven't gotten an email back either. I'm so sorry mandy but i'm glad atleast you got to do the engagement photos so you could see his work before hand.

Oh no! I am sooo sorry this happened! It seems so odd too, because I have always liked all of Randy's pics! I definitely see your prob with them, but like others have said, at least you look good!

I wonder if maybe engagement sessions just aren't taken as seriously as weddings? I don't know if I have ever seen any other Randy engagements? I hope you hear back from him soon!

Hey Mandy, I also posted on the other thread about this, but that is really disappointing and the lack of communication and just shipping the stuff of to you without any word is not very professional. I have a copy of the Roots current packages if you wanted to take a look, I know they are away right now, so I'm sure I could get it to you before they could! I know they are definitely more expensive than other photographers, but at the same time the pictures will be what you have to remember your wedding day by and you should love them.

I definitely think Randy does better work with the Wedding pics, I have seen some of his engagement pictures and didn't think they were anything special but then saw pictures from that same couple's wedding that were very good.

I hope you are able to salvage some of your pics at least, you can probably adjust the exposure and contrast and lighten up a few that were too dark.

This has probably been mentioned, but I can't find it Who did you get to do your hair and makeup that you weren't happy with??

This is what worries me about not getting the chance to do a planning session, hair trials and an engagement shoot, I've just got to turn up on the day and hope it all goes to plan!

Have you looked into David and Vicki Arndt? They're GREAT! Vicki is so nice to work with, and you get two photographers! I actually almost booked Randy and then I let DF look at his pictures. Needless to say he wasn't very pleased and wanted me to pick someone else! HTH!

Anyways I'm so sorry you had a bad experience! Getting back bad pictures is the worst feeling. Definitely look into David and Vicki!

Good luck finding a new photographer! I'm sure their are plenty of great ones out there. I'd look for someone that would help capture "us" not just everyone else's great poses, ya know what I mean?

I love pictures from the Boardwalk, they are so colorful! That being said, those are very pretty pictures! Your hair color looks so vibratn againt the blue dress you wore. Unfortunately there are so few...

And I see what you mean with the hair, good thing you switched! Although the last picture is totally cute! I love it!
