I'm hanging in there - by a thread.. LOL
When there was a knock on my door at 1 a.m. Sunday morning - long after I had gone to bed - I had to remind "G" that there is no sign over my door that reads: "Pharmacy - Open 24 Hours A Day"..
On Sunday afternoon - when there was a knock on my door at 4 p.m. - I had to remind "G" that there is no sign over my door that reads: "Italian Grocer"..
At 6 a.m. Monday morning - when there was pounding on my door - I had to flat out tell "G" that I would NOT supply sleeping pills OR pain pills for her.. If she's having "issues", get in the car and go to the ER..
At midnight last night, I had to phone "G" and tell her to stop the 6 six kids from running through my yard, screaming at the top of their lungs, and tripping the motion light that is right outside my bedroom window..
What day is this? I don't even remember anymore......
Obviously "locked doors" are not a deterrent for "G"...![]()
I would do this in a heartbeat, but as I said, she's a relative of a very, very close friend of mine and if I "cut the cord", it will put that friendship in great jeopardy.. (My friend is due to arrive here on the 29th - staying in this area for 2 weeks..) There are "things" the relative doesn't know (that I have alluded to here) and I don't feel it's my place to be the "informer".. KWIM?
At this point I'm hoping she's angry enough over me not "giving her what she wanted" that the "huff" she left in will last at least until the end of this trip.. Then it will be back to square one when she returns again..
We love hanging out with her DH - too bad he couldn't come without her..![]()
