Wow......I also had tickets that summer for a concert that was never held. Hard to belive it's already been 22 years.

I remember hearing that at my first summer job, just after I turned 18. Harry wasn't that big in Ohio, but we didn't know what we were missing.

I'm proud to say Harry made his home in Huntington, NY. His widow, Sandy still serves on our town's arts council. and they named the stage in our town park after him. the Chapin rainbow Stage in Heckscher Park.

I loved Harry Chapin!! When we were in University, we were planning on going to one of his concerts. What a great talent and a sad loss.

I was priveleged to see him twice at the Front Row in Cleveland. That place no longer exists but was a wonderful place to see performances. We felt like we were in a livingroom with him. He was so amazing and so simple. I still have my old cassettes and doubt they are any good anymore.
