Hi all, just made my final payment and joining the thread. Traveling with DM Linda and we would love to participate in the FE and lanyards.

As of today, CM said there are no plans for anything "special" for this sailing from Disney. Hopefully, she just didn't want to give away any secrets.

I'll head over and join the FB group too.

Thought it about time to join the chaos - will be on the cruise with my DW (Allyson); DDs kiersten (12)), and Katelyn (9); and mother (Anita) who will be celebrating her 77th while onboard - First Disney cruise for Mom, second for the rest of us.

We will probably be pretty low key but looking forward to a wonderful week...

I really hope disney will do something special for our cruise. If i recall correctly, they gave lithographs for the first mexico cruise; however, we were not given anything special on the first west coast repo (LA to Vancouver).

Powellmomma3...are you from houston? The woodlands/spring area? I used to live there, and i'm curious if i already know you.

I am currently from the DFW area. I have lived in San Antonio as a child and Abilene as an adult/college kid who got stuck there but no spring/ woodlands, but we have talked about it alot

It was worth a shot, and you never know! I know a Powell family with 3 kids, so i figured that I would ask.

We are so excited to be joining everyone on the 22nd. This is our first Disney cruise, but have sailed the seas on many others. We are WDW veterans and big fans of the mouse! Since we finally made it to Disneyland this year we decided, why not try a Disney cruise, too. So we are all booked and ready to go.

We look forward to meeting some new Disney friends along the way.

Hi Everyone! I'm getting more excited. Unfortunately, my sister and her husband to be had to cancel out of the cruise, but our friends and ourselves are paid in full, checked in online and we've booked a couple of activities.

I'm now on the FB group and I believe I have added us to the spreadsheet. If I haven't done something correctly, please let me know.

Has anyone ever booked an excursion directly through the location instead of DCL?

For the Secret Mickey I will need you to PM me the names, cabin #, ages of kids and something about each person joining such as favorite character, color, likes, dislikes ... whatever might help your Secret Mickey pick out the perfect gift for you.

For those whom might not know what the FE (fish extender) is just ask. We will be happy to explain it to you. It is so much fun for the kids.. and adults too!

I would love information on what the FE is.

The FE is a fun activity that you can participate in with other disboard members on our cruise. FE stands for Fish Extenders. There is a "fish" outside your cabin door. It is meant for notes etc to be put on it. The fish extender is a pocketed extension to your Fish. You can make it or buy it. It can be found on ebay. There are some people including myself that can make it for you.

What do we do with the Fish Extender you say... Well each person signed up on the list should bring a small token gift for everyone else. It can be anything you like. It can be homemade or bought. It can even be candy of some sort. Some people do crafts so they make theirs, others don't have time or aren't able to make something so they purchase theirs. There is a little info on the main page of the disboard about fish extenders and ideas about things to use. Sometime during the cruise you will deliver your FE gifts to the other cabins on the list. It is a lot of fun when you come to your cabin and find a little gift in your FE.
Kids really love participating in this.
