Counting down to 24 hrs prior to flight to do my online check-in. Why am I up so early the day BEFORE vacation!?

Thanks! Hope you have a smooth flight. We'll probably be passing through Richmond around 6 AM on Saturday. You know how it is - on Saturdays during the summer you have to get out of Virginia as early as possible or you'll sit in traffic for hours!

Wow - most things are done already? Good for you! (although I'm a little envious) I just started pulling together clothes last night and have a huge list of things to do/get before we leave tomorrow. Unfortunately I'm in the office today, so nothing will get done until tonight.

The kids have kept us hopping lately. Between softball (world series appearance and tryouts), soccer (new team problems), and camps; I haven't have much time to be here on the boards or get ready for the cruise! Looking forward to the boat so we can relax.

We were there about 45 mins Dawn, everyone had to get to places, sorry we missed you. Not seen you about the ship yet, will keep looking.

It just seemed as though this cruise went too quickly, especially after docking back in Port Canaveral early.

I am sure we will be on another cruise together in the future.

Sorry that we missed the meet also. We did run into Talb714 when roaming around to drop off FE gifts. Thanks to everyone for the fun gifts. Donna & I had a fun time splitting them between us. I now know to make sure to include our name on our gifts in the future It was great to see all of the creativity and I hope everyone had as much fun with the exchange as we did.

Did you rebook on the ship to take advantage of the discount? I thought about it but resisted temptation. I may have to wait for another couple of years but will comfort myself with many Disney World trips in the interim.

It just seemed as though this cruise went too quickly, especially after docking back in Port Canaveral early.

I was looking forward to a last night of staring across the ocean with the moon or looking for distant ships but I know they were just trying to keep in front of Irene. My family, who had been tracking us via a website was grateful when I got my cell signal back around 11:45ish. I missed my ocean watching but did get to watch a good portion of the docking process, which was really interesting and something I would've normally slept through.

Continued safe travels to those still making their way home.

Hope all are well. We are in MA and still powerless due to Irene. Special thanks to the Horton Trio and Yo Gamma Gamma for the tap lights that we have been using every night as night lights! We are at the libraray using their power to recharge everything!

We did rebook for the discount. Thinking about the Fantasty for 2013, have the Dream Weekend booked for 2012. Ah love my Disney!

First of all , thanks to Wayne and family for all of the meet arranging, web info and moderation. I got to the meet a bit late but got to meet some of you really nice folks Sandy's and Nancy's Families shared a taxi to Atlantis with my ds and I. ....very helpful and fun. Ran into several of you again during the cruise. LOVED my FE stuff. great fun as always.

Incidentally we wound up DRIVING home...(we did the B2B so we got off on Sunday) My home airport was closed because of irene... for over 24 hours, our flight was cancelled and there were no flights available to re-book till TOMORROW (wednesday)

So we rented a car and drove (DS had school start this week). My awesome NEPHEW -IN LAW helped drive back (we took shifts and drove strait through ) back. Good thing is that we do get our $ back for the flights... will apply it to car rental.

I thought Disney did a great job of managing the boat through/around the storm and although we did not get the second castaway cay stop, I was glad we still got to cruise at all !

We were already booked for Fantasy in June 2012...but I booked two dummy cruises onboard so who knows what is coming up.....

I didn't bother booking again onboard because I can't see us cruising Disney again unless the prices drop or we can sail in low season(will be at least 2 years+)
We also enjoy cruising RCCL, not in the same league as DCL but DCL is not worth the difference to me for next year.
4 nights RCCL $1,284.35, $2,027.08 cheaper than DCL
7 night RCCL $3,027.56, $3,276.34 cheaper than DCL

Back to this year, its was great to meet some of you, time is so valuable on the short cruises so thank you for giving up a little of it to come to the meet.
Thank you for all the FE gifts, we have brought them all home and will look at them more closely in the next few days when we have more time.

Lastly our thoughts go out to everyone affected by the storms. Thankfully in the UK we complain about the poor weather but we rarely get the extremes. A few days of bad snow or few days of wind is usually the worst we experience. Stay safe.

It was great meeting some of you at the meet. I saw a few familiar faces on board throughout the 4 (very!) short days, but never seemed to get through the crowd to say hello again. We had 3 kids with us in connecting staterooms and spent more time chasing them up and down the stairs or watching them in the pool than getting to do much else. Not that I'm complaining! A smile on my daughter's face (and a cold drink in my hand) was the perfect vacation.

We resisted the urge to rebook on board but are already planning a 2013 cruise with more friends. We'll see what happens I guess.

Thanks for all the FE gifts. Some were so creative and the kid's loved getting them every day. Casey is still pulling labels off of things and asking "Why do that call her Yo Gamma Gamma!?!" LOL!
