Although I don't believe I'll be taking the family to NYC anytime soon, I travel there a fair bit for work. I just wanted to post here because I just stayed at the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge last week and it is a really nice hotel. Great location right next to the Fulton Mall and really easy to take any of the trains on the yellow line right into Manhattan.

Sign up for Travelzoo.com. It sends regular updates about hotel codes and NYC is always on there. I just got a 50% off code for the Millennium in Times Square. Gorgeous and obviously a perfect tourist location.

Another really nice Marriott in New York is the Marriott Courtyard Manhattaan Midtown East. The rooms are HUGE by NY standards.

It is within walking distance of Rockefeller Center, Times Square, 5th Ave., etc.

We are staying here in August for $139 a night.
