My sister just got back from the Fort. She took a sneak peek in at the construction going on inside the 2100 loop. No one was working as it was a holiday. Said they look like a cross between premium and full hook up sites. The concrete goes all the way back and there is no sand/shell pad. They are shorter and narrower than premium. They also had a "kick out" (like the tent/pop ups in 2000 for the grill) formed with timbers but no concrete poured yet. Could be concrete or sand/shell, she couldn't tell. They were taking out the tree stump electrical posts and putting in metal posts. Maybe this is why they can classify as "Preferred" even though they are not close to the marina. Maybe having the concrete all the way back makes them "preferred" over the other full hook ups? Hopefully we will know soon what they will be and how much. We need a full or preferred for our Dec trip, right now we have a tent pop up, but need to change.

Terri,

Maybe they will create yet another strata of sites - something called "Super Sites" and charge extra for them.

Thanks for the update.

Ed, she emailed me a picture. You can see where they already filled in the sides in the back to make it even, but it looks like if they fill the wood form (to the left of the pad) with concrete, it will make the back wider, so do you think they would become premium? I hope not, those are a little pricey for me.

Going to be full hookup sites, between the concrete and the wood forms will be coquina. Glad they did not catch you in there.
