Just returned from a 7 nite western disney cruise then 21 nites at the fort. (9-15 to10-6) What a wonderfull and relaxing time, DW had to work remote for 2 weeks the inturnet did not work all the time, kept knocking her off a few times each day & 2 days most all day but she got all her work done anyway. Went swimming most everyday at lunch time, while she worked I went to all the hotels to check them out real good been a long time seeing some of them. After DW got done with work we would go to a park for the nite & sometimes end up at P.I. comedy wearhouse. The last week was her vacation so parks all day, eat at trails inn , wilderness lodge, beaches & cream to name a few what a great time we had. Our site #236 great site last one on loop VERY easy to back into and shadey. Would not do perfured site but DW had to conect to work. Just not there to watch TV. Our RV is a 31' TT lots of room on this site. Can't wate to go back see you 11-28 to 12-15 2007.

Thanks for the report. The trip was relaxing for both of you even if your wife had to work. And, now you get to go back soon. You're making some of us envious!

Hey gon2wdw55,

Nice report. This might be a little OT, but what did you think about the Comedy Warehouse at PI? Was it good? Worth it? Family or grown-up rated? We like doing the Adventurer's Club when it's free from 7:30-8:30 p.m. (also more family rated for our 3 kids) but we've never been to CW.

thanks,

Bama ED :lmao:

AWESOME!!!! am so jealous... we were supposed to stay about 4 weeks (Nov.2-Dec.4) at the Fort but had to change that to Fort only until Nov.17..waaa , waaa....

your report is so cool...... you won't be able to stop grinning for a long time... all that great time.... luckyducky! Love it!

by the way, any chance we can see pics ?? especially of the sites? We're in a preferred in 4 weeks and we've never in all these years stayed in 200 and wondering about it for request .. you said 236 yes? I'm still soooo envious of your awesome trip!

Wow! Sounds like a great vacation! I love looking at the hotels as well.

Visiting other resorts and just goofing off are two of our favorite things to do and almost rival the parks especially during the holidays and is why we now always try and go for at least 30 days at a time. NO RUSH and we set aside the last 3 or 4 days to "REVISIT" our favorites.

How do you look in an apron and a dust feather in your hand? and a baby on each hip? (just kidding..........................)

well.... I cleaned both bathrooms today, did 6 loads of laundry, vacuumed, took my wife out to breakfast, cleaned some windows, went shopping for food and spent the evening at DS's band competition.
Now THATS a family guy !

You Carter's are all so easily trained. I am sure Patti would be more than willing to stay 21 days at the fort. All you have to do is ask!:rolleyes1

Yep! And with the now new bigger home, you may have to even twist her arm. :lmao:

Does this now mean that Ryan graduates from the tent in the back to actually staying in the camper? Yay for him. We still want the boy.

I think 21 nights at the fort is great. Everyone needs to stay a minimum of 21 nights each trip. It would make our vacations so much more convenient. However, I never thought about throwing in a 7 days cruise beforehand. Now thats a vacation!

I wish there was a way we could pull off a 21 day stay. I cant imagine what the golf cart bill would be for that long. I would prefer to spend the 21 days in the winter, maybe during January, I wouldnt have to worry about the lawn getting too long and the white stuff (snow for Y'all south of the MD line) will be there anyways. Honestly, the long stays like that are part of my long range plan.

With a 21-day Golf Cart rental, you may as well just buy a golf cart!

Let's see.....21 days times $48/day = $1008 (approx). Yup - you could buy a golf cart for that!

Hey you could buy the golf cart, then start a Golf Cart Swap for everyone here! When you're done with your 21 days, just leave it for the next person on the list. Then they could leave it for the next person........

:thumbsup2
