My husband and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary while we are at Disney. I have a reservation at California Grill and Bull&Bear that evening. I haven’t ever been to Bull & Bear. Which should we do? So difficult to decide. We are staying at Wilderness Lodge, so it will be easy to get to CG. If we do B&B we’d need to Uber…

Initially our plan was to do V&A, but it likely won’t be open.

It all depends on what you want to spend. Bull and Bear is a fine dining experience perfect for celebrating a special occasion. The servers are top notch, and will make the evening special. People dress up. The hotel and restaurant are absolutely beautiful, and the food is of much higher quality and prepared beautifully. it's romantic, more subdued lighting, and it will feel like a celebration. Make sure to tell them it's a special occasion. Again, it's expensive, but I think it's worth the Uber trip. California Grill is prix fixe, food is very good, but the restaurant is loud and busy. You can ask for the Mary Blair room if you would like a more quiet atmosphere that looks out over the water instead of the parking lot and theme park. But it is Disney, so be prepared for unhappy children that may take away from a romantic evening. It just depends on your budget and what kind of experience you're looking for. Watch some you tube vlogs of both to get an idea of what works best for you.

To be fair, our 13yo will be with us. 😂

Well, you know your son best. I have one that would have loved the grown up night, and my other son would still have preferred chicken fingers and fries at that age! Maybe check out the menus, and really, watch a couple of videos.

If your 13 yo daughter is joining, I'd recommend CA Grill. As previous poster mentioend, B&B can absolutely handle children, but it's a more "grown-up," elegant atmosphere with darker, more subdued lighting. Your 13 yo would enjoy the views from CA Grill, CA Grill is very used to catering to 13 yo's, and not sure where you're coming from, but there's the convenience of it being at Disney/on the monorail.
