2057 extension for other DVC resorts?

Was the OKW extension offer considered a success or failure do you think? Did Disney get the response they had hoped for with the per point extension offer they did for OKW members?

I have not seen offers for any of the other older DVC resorts so was wondering if you think there will be an offer like this coming.

No one but Disney knows for sure about the apparent success or failure of hitting their internal goals, however general consensus is it was poorly received from members.

That said, it is also a general consensus, that Disney will most likely look to offer other extensions in the future, but that they learned a lot from the first one and may change their format of offering, timing, etc.

i've heard different things but generally that it wasn't all they hoped.

also, because OKW is a stand-alone DVC, they had more flexibility in offering an extension there. DVCs that are connected to a hotel require signoff from the hotel side, so it is a little more complicated. if DVC wants to extend BWV to 2057 but disney's hotel division decides to change the theming of BWI, it might be problematic...

extensions for the other DVCs certainly might happen but there's been no hint of it from the DVC side, and IMO, i would bet against other extensions.
