So shortly after this thread started I was happily forced to write down and organize my workouts. I had been pretty good about starting a good habit in late summer but was kind of random on exercises and skipping days especially over the holiday season. Monday saw a full day of snow blower wrestling and snow shovel strength training and since I’m scheduling my workouts on M,W,F today is the day. I’m putting this out into the world because that’s one more trick to make a habit stick. Also for the first time not only have I written it down, but hit strength on my watch and timed it. With random stretching and quick rests between core, legs, and arms I can get a simple but decent workout in 25 minutes.
30 crunches
Side planks 1 minute each
30 reverse crunches
10 Superman
40 Russian twists with 25 lb
Dumbbell squats
Dumbbell lunges
Dumbbell step ups
Dumbbell Calf raises
2 sets of 10
10 inclined pushups, hold for 10 renegade row right
10 inclined pushups, hold for 10 renegade row left
15 Dumbbell curls biceps and triceps
15 Dumbbell shoulder press
Done after my five mile run, usually run first unless I’m waiting for better weather to run outside. Looks like treadmill for a bit so wake up, coffee, get it done. Going to stick with it now thanks to everyone here.
