2026 MMB info Announced

I just purchased the MMB (for the OTUP and the access to lounges). I'm wondering how Disney knows I purchased this, because I can't find any reflection of my purchase in my DVC dashboard. I have an email with a confirmation number, but beyond that, I can find no evidence of this purchase in my DVC profile/dashboard/etc. I'm not too worried, as Disney knows everything. :P But, I'm curious about how CMs will know when I request access to the lounge at Epcot? Or how DVC knows when I want to book and purchase OTUP?
If you sign in to your DVC account, then go to My DVC, then My Profile, scroll down and click on Membership Magic Beyond, that page will show a MMB that activates on January 1, 2026 (this is from a laptop computer, but probably similar on a mobile browser).

Can someone clarify for me, I have never had an issue getting into the lounge 6 of us. This trip they said we need another member since you have 6 people. This has never happened before. Is it because I was booked in 2 studios rather than a 2 bedroom?
I was recently reading about this, and I think that's probably it. My understanding is that once you go past 4 guests, they go by the people listed on the reservation for each room and at least one person in that room has to be a DVC and/or MMB member. So, say you and your spouse are the two DVC members, but only you have MMB. I think the best you could do is put your name on the reservation for one room and your spouse on the reservation for the other room. Then, everyone in both rooms will have access to the DVC lounges, but only you and the people listed on the reservation for your room will be able to use the MMB priority for the DVC lounge. At least that is my understanding. The other option would be to have your spouse also purchase MMB and then everyone in both rooms would get the MMB priority access.

I called this morning to get ticket prices for the 5-day WDW tickets and they said they won’t have pricing until Jan. 1. Has anyone else called and asked? Just curious as our trip is mid-Jan.

Put in your starting date for one ticket and see what it comes out too.
Remember these 5 day tickets are only valid weekdays but allow you 7 days to use them so you could purchase them with a start date on the weekend to possibly lower your cost as MMB Document indicates the "Start Date".

For example 1/12/26 5 day individual ticket is $694.35 + $45.13 totalling $739.48
That date qualifies for the $120 off.
I'm not sure if the $120 would come off of the base rate lowering the effective tax rate so your price would be either $611.68 or $619.48 for each adult ticket.
I'm not sure if the "Free 5 day Waterpark" tickets will actually add to the cost or not but this should give you a ballpark idea.

You might find a better price through the board sponsor of unlocked magic since weekend days would most likely be included.

It says:

“The enrolled Member can bring up to 4 guests or the number of guests on their resort stay reservation, whichever is greater. Capacity restrictions may apply”.

Was the issue that your name wasn’t on the reservation for the 2nd studio? Did they make an exception for you?
One studio was my name and one studio was my husbands name. We are both on all of memberships. They let us go since one of our 6 was an infant.
Yes that's why.

If you had 12 people in a grand villa, you could bring all 12 because they're on the same reservation as you. The people in the second studio weren't on YOUR reservation.
This is still confusing to me since our 2nd studio was in my husbands name who is also on our membership.

I wonder what caused them not to include start dates for the beginning of January (1/1-1/12, includes Marathon Weekend) or the beginning of November (11/2-11/11, ??). Christmas and Thanksgiving have a ticket offer, and you can purchase one that starts on 12/31 this year - so it doesn’t have to do with the busiest time periods. 🤷‍♀️
I do get that if you can’t call until the first and they are closed on the first, that a start date of 1/1 and maybe 1/2 would not work.

Go into your Walt Disney World credential in your mobile wallet. There should be a section that says "Affiliations."

The spot that says "DVC-Y" will turn into "DVC-BY."

Regardless, they fixed their systems about two years ago where they can validate all of your credentials with a tap of MagicBand or room key or card or whatever ticket media you have. Even setting MMB aside, this same system is how they validate whether someone is a Direct owner who is eligible for membership extras or a resale-only member who is not.

You should never have to actually SHOW a cast member anything other than maybe a photo ID. If you're asked to show them anything beyond just tapping their tablet, the CM is poorly trained.

Well 1/12 is the anniversary date so maybe that is it?

On a totally unrelated to the thread but do we know why there are 4 barcodes under the ID? Did they have to create 4 because Disney doesn't have just one system?

Agreed that is confusing since DH was on one studio and you on the other. Technically you should have been able to bring 10 if you were staying at BCV, BRV, BWV, PVB Longhouses, RIV or VGF seeing that they can sleep up to 5 each.

Odd, I have DVC BY, ANNUAL as well but there is just the one QR code. No swiping for any extras.

EDIT: is your's a barcode or QR code? Mine is just the one QR.
The first one is a normal looking QR code with a square in the two top corners and bottom left corner, then the barcode like what is on egift cards, then a QR Code that has several squares in the middle, then another normal looking barcode.

You can also see your MMB in your DVC Profile:

If you click MMB on the bottom it accesses your expiration date and receipt of payment.

We were at DL at VDH. Im glad it didnt become a big thing and they just let us go, but very curious for next time.

But the primary benefit attaches to the membership, not the member. If my wife buys MMB separately from me, it's not like she gets a second batch of BOGO OTUP.
Yes and no. If you buy it for 2026, and get OTU points for a trip in your 2025 UY, and she buys and get them for your 2026 UY, both get it that once

It’s the cap on OTU points that prevents it because they didn’t change the rules.

It’s still an individual benefit. If you buy, you get memory maker but if you both do, each gets the memory maker.

Same with the lounge…but tickets might, if it’s for anyone and not just households.

For example, I and my DS can buy and both get the tickets since we are different households.

They all have the same guest name? That sounds like how mine would behave for my kids. Start with mine, swipe to see theirs.
I assume it is just for me.
There are no names showing but the same ID shows each time I swipe to change barcodes in the wallet.

I have the ticket and passes thing like you are talking about in my MDE where I can switch between everyone's AP.
