Vikings with Darnold 14-3.
Vikings without Darnold. 9-8 Out of playoffs, bottom 10 offense.
Sam Darnold with new team. 14-3 Superbowl champs.

This is a bad year to need a QB and not have the #1 pick. Good year to need a WR.

Fun fact. The only QB from a certain draft that is still a starter was not only the very last QB picked, but the last pick.
The QBs picked before him were Kenny Picket. Desmond Ridder, Malik Willis, Matt Corral, Bailey Zappe, Sam Howell, Chris Oladokun, and Skylar Thompson. Only one of these remains with his original team and none are currently the starter for their team.
Brock Purdy was Mr. Irrelevant that draft.
