Got my reservation at AKL for this weekend. Yeah bring dvc pretty happy I got 1 bedroom value

We weren’t quick enough out of the gate but just had our waitlist come through on a 1BR value this AM! Love AKL, someday we’ll stay at Kidani again but can’t turn down those value rooms.

A few of us did the Halloween night MNSSHP this year followed by the 5K the next morning!

Looks like last year there was a MNSSHP on the Thursday, Friday and Sunday of the weekend that the race is this year. Would love a Sunday night party after all the races are done!

But that would be the same night as the Wine & Dine afterparty--I don't think Disney would do that

Oh I forgot about the after party. You may be right. Though they probably could still sell out both parties on the same night.

They definitely could, but I don’t know if they’d want to have restrictive events at 2 parks on the same night

Ahh valid point, for some reason I thought the after party was after Epcot normally closes anyway. But I didn't actually go this year so idk.

It is, but runners can get in at 5, so you’d have normal Epcot guests, runners, and some people who have been pushed out of MK early all crowding into Epcot. Not that it doesn’t have giant capacity, but it still doesn’t seem like a likely scenario Disney would want.

Also impatiently waiting on themes. (Room is booked for our girls trip favorite: princess room at POR!). Since club registers February 4th, I do think we should see those soon. Last year I registered on March 5th as a perfect challenger, so I know club was beforehand, and themes were "revealed" February 20th.

It'll be known when the race weekend page goes live. Since DL Halloween's deadline is April 1, would guess May or June 1 for this one.
