2025 Marathon Weekend Pre/Post-HH Mini Golf Outing

Hi all,

Time has flown, and we're getting close to the 2025 Marathon weekend!

We had a discussion in the main thread a few months ago about a mini golf outing either before or after the annual Hurricane Hanna meet-up (which per tradition should be Friday, January 10th at 2pm this year.) Disney's Fantasia Gardens mini-golf is a 0.5 mile walk from Hurricane Hanna's. The price is $19 for 18 holes per adult. (I don't know what AP/DVC discounts there may be.)

Wanted to see if/how many people may still be interested, and if so at what time.

Definitely seems like we still have a bunch of people interested!

I gave Disney recreation a call. Reservation window opens November 10th, so I'll make reservations then.

Groups can be up to 6 people without being split, so I'll make reservations for 2 groups and we can split up numbers accordingly day of.

There is a 15% DVC/AP passholder discount, and each discount holder can extend up to 3 guests, so I think we're all covered by the discount with current ratios.

I would be interested maybe more in the afternoon( though both would work) Though I have never golfed or mini golfed in my life before so I may really slow the group down.....

I voted early as well since I’ll have to head out from HH straight to daycare pickup. The not fun parts about being local.

I voted either time, looks like there's a slight preference to before-HH.

All are welcome no matter the level of experience/inexperience! Half the fun of mini-golf is seeing what weird pathway the ball will take to get into the hole.

Yup! We have reservations for 2 groups of 6 at 12pm on Friday, January 10th for the Fantasia mini golf.

While we're on the topic, could everyone who plans on attending please chime in again on this thread? I'll update the first post with a list of the attendees.

I am a tentative yes depending on how my arms are doing if that's okay. Being a handcyclist means I got to keep that part of putt putt in mind. Will have a scooter but from what I can find they are allowed on the course so that shouldn't be aproblem. If I end up having to pull out I'll put up the fee regardless.

No need to worry about the fee. When booking, I asked what happens if people need to back out last minute and was told that the number of people can be adjusted at check in.
