I registered too. But I couldn't find any news about the general meeting on the 11th. It didn't seem to be on the registration site. Anyone know anything?
Have not seen anything about that.

I haven’t seen anything official either. If DVC really plans to have one, they’re waiting very late to announce it.I registered too. But I couldn't find any news about the general meeting on the 11th. It didn't seem to be on the registration site. Anyone know anything?
It affects the DVC experience. I have a friend staying at Beach Club Villas and she mentions going to the Marketplace for takeout food. For example, Mickey Waffles, no option at Boardwalk. We used to go to Big River for our arrival meal, we loved the burgers. Closed for almost 2 years. Other DVC resorts have a decent quick service with hot food. Boardwalk is very limited. I’ve seen comments that people don’t want to stay at the Inn for the same reason, food options. Now they have 3 spaces closed that they could do something with.Don’t be disappointed if they don’t provide any information about the BW itself. DVC has nothing to do with that part of WDW operations, and if they know anything, they may not be at liberty to share it.
Oh, I completely agree, the state of the Boardwalk definitely affects BWV owners’ experience. But that doesn’t mean that DVC management has any input on or information to share about plans for the BW. In general, the annual meetings are intended to fulfill statutory requirements for approving the budgets of the individual condo associations. I’m sad to say that it’s been rare for them to provide anything more.It affects the DVC experience. I still don’t see anything on the member website, except this in the Q&A for the meetings:I registered too. But I couldn't find any news about the general meeting on the 11th. It didn't seem to be on the registration site. Anyone know anything?
I still don’t see anything on the member website, except this in the Q&A for the meetings:
Q5: Last year, DVC hosted a reception with Resort Tours. Are there plans to include a reception in 2025?
A: In 2024, we showcased Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and The Cabins. For 2025, association meetings will take place on December 9th and 10th, 2025. Once the meetings are adjourned, Members are free to enjoy their day as they choose.
I am guessing this means they are making it a point to save any Lakeshore Lodge news for D23 and don’t want to be put in a position where they have to answer questions about it yet.
I’m confused, didn’t they always have meetings for each resort? That’s new?Or, now that they have to do indivual meetings for owners, they don’t need to do a group one.
What I think would be great is if they would provide owners who can’t attend minutes of the Q and A.
I am going to make that suggestion!
No. Prior to a law change in 2024, it was one general meeting for everyone.I’m confused, didn’t they always have meetings for each resort? That’s new?
Is it like open mic at a government meeting? If they allowed video I could see that guy from CA going up to the mic and doing his “what up counsel” routine and it would be hysterical.No. Prior to a law change in 2024, it was one general meeting for everyone.
FL law changed in 2024 to require quarterly meeting, which started in Sept 2024. Then, in July 2025, FL updated them and DVC into has to have one meeting one year but for each association.
So, I can see why they decided to not do the general meeting since all the important info will be covered at each one.
The plus to the individual meetings though is that it provides owners more Q and A time since each group gets to ask questions!

And also thanks for explaining - I didn’t realize it used to just be one big meeting.No. Prior to a law change in 2024, it was one general meeting for everyone.
