I was awake in the wee hours of the morning when he started his run. I got up to start the faucet trickle so the pipes wouldn’t freeze and just looked it up out of curiosity. I was surprised he didn’t start at 12:01 am on Christmas Eve instead of 3:00 am. I guess it’s due to the difference in time zones.

He's from the North Pole. All this frigid weather is like summer for him. And the frosty wind chill is refreshing for the reindeer. They don't sweat with it as they are pulling the sleigh.
