I notice that with the 4-day Park-Hopper Military Salute tickets, the Genie+ can be added for $30! That's a 50% savings! The 5-Day add-on is a little more at $45, which is a respectable 40% discount. Is this a sign that perhaps there may be other discounts coming on Genie+?? I had not even considered adding it on to our tickets because I just assumed it was the regular $15/day, but with that much of a discount, I may be persuaded, especially since it is just 2 of us going.

4-Day Disney Military Salute Tickets

  • With Park Hopper Option: $329 plus tax
  • With Park Hopper Plus Option: $359 plus tax
  • With Park Hopper Option and Disney Genie+ service: $389 plus tax
  • With Park Hopper Plus Option and Disney Genie+ service: $419 plus tax

I am seeing prices with the Genie+ add on still being $15 a day. (I think you saw the price difference from the Hopper option to the Hopper Plus option)

:teacher::worship: (Yup....and once again, my basic math and reading skills were thrown off track by my lack of morning caffeine:surfweb::lmao:)
Thank you for clarifying.

LOL You did make me go back and look because if it was discounted that much, we too might have considered getting it! :flower1:

I read below that the hopper+ option gave you separate, additional day admission to the water parks, etc. for the same number of days. Can anyone confirm? Could I use a 4-day hopper+ ticket for 8 vacation days (4 at the parks and 4 at other places)?

Here is the link, though it's like 4 years old:
https://plandisney.disney.go.com/qu...-hopper-day-fun-passes-one-multi-park-356199/
"Tickets with Park Hopper Plus Option grant the same "Hopper" privileges as described above, but with the added "Plus" option of a single admission per day to any of the following: Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course and Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course. Think of the "Plus" option as being thoroughly separate from your theme park admissions, potentially giving you 8 Disney days altogether. This could mean going to either of the Disney Water Parks 4 times! Isn't that just simply magical?"

Yes. A 4-day hopper-plus ticket is valid for 8 days from the designated start date. It includes 4 theme park entry days, with hopping privileges, and 4 "plus" options (waterparks, mini-golf, Oak Trail golf course, ESPN WWoS). You may use the "plus" options on the same day(s) as a theme park or on separate days or using multiple "plus" options on the same day.

There is no base type ticket, only hopper ones? Is that typical for military Tix?

But... if, for the general public, the price goes up for Genie+ during the year, then you will have savings. and if you buy directly from the base ITT office, it's tax-free...
I actually do not have any access...
My best friend and co-worker of 20+ years (as well as her husband and both sons) are either active duty, reserves or retired so most of them qualify. I travel with her once a year and I put her up in my DVC accommodations and she provides me with the Military Salute tickets. Next year, her entire family of 4 is going and so she will only be able to purchase 2 additional tickets. She submitted the order form from Shades of Green for the 5-day Park Hopper. Do those tickets come already activated or will I have to present myself to Guest Services along with one of them (and their ID) to activate it once we arrive? We are arriving on the same day but staying at different resorts. We will just need to coordinate our park reservations.

Take this with a grain of salt, because I have only used salute tickets in Disneyland so far. My first use of these tix in WDW will be a year from now.

But what people told me, shades of green tickets are already activated. It's the ones from bases that are (most of the time) not activated.

Yes - the Base ITT tickets are usually vouchers. I think it's so they can get them out quicker. I think they have also had hard tickets some years but they still needed to be activated. I have heard of a few people say that they had gotten activated military salute tickets at a base ITT office but I have never had that experience.

If you get military salute tickets from SOG they will almost certainly be already activated. If you get them from a base ITT office you will almost certainly have to activate them when you get to WDW.

I’m so glad I searched this thread. I have an AP so never used military tickets but my dad (retired military) and mom are coming with me in June and we are visiting all 4 parks plus a water park. I told my Dad to buy the 5 day park hopper plus with genie plus. I thought it meant it was good only for 5 days for the 4 major parks or water parks (not separate days). Now I need to tell him to extend his stay so he can get one more day at a major park and hit the water parks on other days. So our 5 day ticket can actually last 10 days if we don’t go to a major park and a “plus” place on the same day?!!!!!!
