2021 Halloween Time Superthread *September 3-October 31* *Oogie Boogie Bash Returns on Select Nights*

That's the only official way I know of. If you're a guest of the Disneyland Resorts, I don't think you'll have an issue getting a ticket day of in the morning. Seemed like everyone was getting in back when I had to try to snag a day of ticket.
Hello, I have decided to plan a sorta last minute trip in Oct and there a few party dates during our trip that are obivously already sold out. Is it a pretty sure bet that DLR hotel guests can get day of tix for OBB? If so, I would consider getting a room onsite for 1 night. Thanks in advance.

It’s not guaranteed

Not guaranteed, but when I had last to do that (I think 2018) it seemed like basically everyone that wanted one could get one. I lined up about 45 minutes before the front desk “opened” and felt stupid because it looked like there would have been no issues getting them. I think maybe 30 people were lined up at the opening and everyone were getting tickets (probably over 100 tickets being sold since most people were getting at least two if not four). I get the feeling pre-covid anyone that swings by right around when the front desk opened would get a ticket… as of now, who knows…

Hi! Does anyone know if there will be trick or treating or other halloween events at the grand californian? We're planning on a stay there over halloween and, even if it wasn't sold out, oogie boogie bash starts and runs a little late for our kids. If there was something at the hotel, that would be perfect. Thanks!

In case this hasn't already been confirmed, on the Disneyland page for the OBB parade, they have times -- 7:50pm and 10:05 pm

And both parades start at Pixar Pier and go to Hollywood Blvd?

How do they get the whole parade back to Pixar Pier without us seeing it?

Excited to see that there is a special photo at the Party for Magic Key holders. Going to activate my pass on the party date so I can get the photos and also get the Special Popcorn bucket. Love Hocus Pocus so excited to see what the photo looks like

Has anyone heard of the ability to transfer a OOB ticket. I purchased one for a friend for Sep 30th and then her and her family were in a tragic accident and she is no longer able to attend. Universal refunded her HHN ticket, but I am not sure how to approach OOB. Since it is sold out, I'm sure someone would love to use the ticket, just no clue how I could get it to them.
As long as the ticket has not been linked to an account you should be okay.

Good to know it’s running twice. I don’t remember if it ran once or twice in 2019 since it had to run around the 2 world of color showtimes

If it fits into your plans for the evening, I highly recommend catching the second parade. There was a ton of seating on the night we went in 2019 when there was a second parade. We sat in front of the Golden Zephyr and there was hardly anybody in our immediate vicinity. Gave us room to stretch out and relax while watching the parade go by.

However, I think the night we went may have been the only night with 2 parade times and maybe people didn't realize there was the second one that night. The added plus of sitting there was that we didn't have to wait long for the parade to reach us since we were closer to the beginning of the parade route.

Trying to decide about the dessert party. Is there anywhere that I can find the list of actually offerings? We are torn between having the seat or not and just doing the dinner and getting the standing spot versus skipping the dinner and just doing QS and having dessert. I am guessing the cost of the food at the dinner will be pretty close to the party price. Any thoughts?

I am not sure if this might be the first year for an Oogie Bash dessert party. Here is a review with pics from the Disney Food Blog for the World of Color Dessert parties. Pricing is similar so it’s possible the food offerings might also be similar -

Still NOTHING about any seasonal food offerings? I’d be happy with what they did for 2019, but I can’t believe there’s been no indications of anything special, food wise, for this year…
