Going up. Even though they were shuttered for a few months. And less staff working since they re-opened. Ugh!
OKW was $7.8363 this year. Still a 6.65% increase though.OKW going from 7.7341 per point last year to 8.3578 this year is about 8% increase. Ouch. Maybe my math is wrong?

Could this years increase possibly be due to the $15 minimum wage they were working towards?
The union contract applicable to most on-site employees had another $1 per hour increase effective Oct 2020, which has a significant effect on the 2021 budget. That does not put everyone at $15 an hour, e.g., Food and Beverage workers move up to $14 while housekeeping move to $16. Florida voters just approved a minimum $15 an hour minimum wage provision on the ballot, But that sdhould not have an effect yet because it provides a few years to reach that minimum.
Assuming that these 2020 dues are accurate, looks like an average (unweighted) increase of 5%, though only 4.34% at WDW resorts (excluding AUL, VBR, HHI, and VGC).

Indeed, excluding Aulani the 4 smallest increases were for the newest resorts:But the difference between it and all other WDW resorts closed, which I believe it pretty typical the first few years
A drop in Front Desk (.75 to .65) and transportation (1.14 to 1.05) helped offset what may be the most expensive housekeeping at WDW (1.51 to 2.19)Maybe Riviera had a couple years of built in dues increases after all.

The % increases at WDW are almost in almost perfect order of how recently the resort opened. A few swaps and BRV is on an island, but it’s really interesting.Indeed, excluding Aulani the 4 smallest increases were for the newest resorts:
RVA (0.88%)
CCV (1.88%)
VGF (3.84%)
PVB (3.89%) - my home!
Poor VBR though.![]()
If dues keep going up by these amounts (compound growth) as we have seen for 5 years, they will be getting unaffordable for many soon.
Exponential growth- we have all heard the term with Covid, well apply it to your dues too!
