I am thinking about staying in January or February 2020. I cannot get the website to let me start a stay in 2020. I can check rates to stay starting in December 2019 that extends into 2020, but cannot check-in in 2020. I thought people planned more than a year in advance, so I don't know if I am doing something wrong or if rates are not available for 2020 stays yet. If rates are not available yet, does anyone know when they might become available? Thanks!

You can book a room by phone 499 days in advance but if you want to book online or you want a package you'll have to wait untill 2020 prices come out which is likely the first half of June.

They won't be available online until June or July. You can book a room only up to 499 days out via phone. You'll have to make a deposit of one night at the most expensive rack rate from this year.

Thank you. That is what I needed to know. I am just looking for budgeting reasons now, I am not ready to book yet. I will check back in a few months.

For the heck of it, add 5% to what you see for this year. I'm not sure what the average rate increase is from year to year, but having the cushion probably isn't a bad idea.

5% is probably low. Galaxy's Edge is going to make this year's increases much bolder.

I would guess that there will be about a 25% increase compared to this year and then not as many people booking so we will ultimately see more specials next year rather than a decrease in price.

Wow you really think a room at Pop will go from $150 (standard room in August 2019) to $187.50. That's a huge jump.........and in my opinion it won't stop the madness at SWGE. The thing about StarWars is yeah its a Disney property but not all of its fans are Disney fans per se. The park will get an added boost of folks that normally wouldn't visit WDW but who have to see SWGE.

I think Disney needs to be careful here........the boom economy won't last forever. Would they really want to alienate their faithful with that drastic a jump. Keep in mind not only will room rates rise but most everything else will too. I can't see a 25% bump.......but I've been wrong before so I guess only time will tell.

All I say is if you have 2020 plans book'em when those rates become available and lock in. o_O

Where are you coming up with a 25% increase? That is an insanely large increase.

OP - I booked and added (in my head) 10% to the price.
I feel like it's a good cushion knowing that I am booked at the highest rack rate time of year, but when I'm traveling it won't be that time of year, and with that highest rack rate I figured in another increase of 10% to account for annual and Galaxy's Edge increases.

Hopefully I'm near what they end up increasing to!
