It shouldn't matter. It's a counter service place, not table service and not prix fix... we've had numerous occassions where not everyone in our party ordered a meal, so it should make no difference. Again by Disney's own policy you are allowed to use your credits however you wish, as long as you have them. All counter service places have the ages for kids meals, but just as you said there's no way for them nor should they be monitoring who's eating what. If I paid for 8 kid CS meals; Disney says I can use them all in one sitting if I like...or none at all. Yes, agree that BOG in general has always been more of a pain than other counter service places, but if they're wrong, they're wrong and it's shameful that they take advantage of ppl. in that way....especially considering how much the dining plan costs for goodness sakes. Not thst it should make a difference, but come on you're making a huge amount of money on it; absolutely no need to try to take advantage of your customers. What if you have really hungry kids and they want two meals each? You can’t pay for both using credits?![]()
I suspect the issue is when they see that you are ordering only kids meals and no adult meals and you have adults in the group. While not a prix fixe, the menu does say that the kids menu is for children 3-9. They don’t *have* to enforce it, but BoG has always been one to go very much by the book. Back in that very brief period of time when they were allowing certain substitutions (swap a side for the drink), BoG stopped allowing it much sooner than other places. I do wonder if they are more easy going if you order adult and kids meals.
