Any idea when the Flower and Garden will begin in 2018?

Not sure if official dates are out yet, but it's usually the beginning of March til the end of May.

Hope you don't mind if I hijack this post. We are going after Easter and have never been before. How does it compare to Food and Wine?

This year it started March 1 ran thru end of May. Only in the last few years have they started with food booths around Epcot. Allears.net has menus and other info from the festival. Went to F&W last fall, F&G this spring and a quick weekend trip in July and now I'm convinced the temporary food kitchen and permanent because they were closed but still there in July with signage about the next festival.

DH & I love F&G Festival! All the colorful flowers & warm temps make such a nice change for us (coming from NY where it's always still cold). The addition of food booths was just the icing on the cake! Fingers crossed, we MIGHT be able to make it there for 2018.

This would be our first time to go the first week of March. Hoping for cooler weather than the past years we have gone at the end of April. We don't usually do many food booths at either but DH does like the beer selections at both.

That is usually how we decided when to go the past trips but guess we will have to see who is there this year during our stay. We loved seeing The Guess Who twice and Starship since we are kinda "old school".

Hello, I guess since I am from Alabaster we are Shelby County neighbors too. I really enjoy the flowers and topiary during F&G a little better. I don't think Epcot decorates enough during the fall.

There are not as many food booths, none of the special meals or food and wine demos in the Festival Center. The Festival Center is only open on the weekends.

We always go to see The Orchestra. If anybody has any info about dates for them I would appreciate it.

We usually go to flower and garden and love it every year. There are not as many booths as food and wine, which we also love, but it's still a lot of fun and the topiaries are beautiful. I think there were about 15 food booths this year.
We're looking forward to 2018 f&g!

I've seen March 2 to May 28 from several unofficial but reliable sources. Usually the first official confirmation will come from the parks blog, but not until late in the year.

Any suggestions on which week might be better-4/21-4/27 or 5/21-5/26? We've done F&W twice and usually go a couple of weeks after it's started. Wasn't sure how bad the last week would be. Any advice would be appreciated!

It says "The Spinners" will be there 5/25-5/28 if you like them. I have been several times the end of May and it is already too hot for me then.
