Have these started yet?

I'm wondering how they compare to the 2016 SWDAS cruises? I'm hoping to see Personal Navigators posted soon for the 2017 cruises.

They started the first week of January so we should be seeing Navigators anytime now. :)

Just got off the first one waiting at airport to get home. I'm not a sw fan, so didn't do any of the sw stuff. Best news is they are doing 2 nights of fireworks--get them on pirate night along with pirate deck show, no pirate menue though. Then sw day tons of activities all over ship, menue looked same as last year, deck party and then more fireworks. Lot more people were dressed up for sw day then pirate day. Very rough waters during both sea days and lots of excursions cancelled at Grand Caymans, otherwise great cruise.

Great time! Definitely a rocky ride but so much fun.

Did they have a semi- formal night and formal night or just a formal night?

Which night was pirate night? We are going on the western in April and it says pirate night is Jamaica night. Which night was formal?

Formal night was Sunday and Pirate night was Monday. There wasn't a semi formal. It was very windy both nights of fireworks and we were surprised they went on with it. Commodore Tom did a fantastic job guiding us into Grand Cayman, the ship before us aborted getting into tendering position all together. High winds and a cold front were stirring up the ocean all week and there was a lot of sea sickness on Sunday in particular.

Did they have lobster on one of the nights. It's usually semi-formal night (Captains Gala) but that will be Star Wars Day.

They did have lobster one night, maybe Wednesday? Can't remember, maybe it was semi formal. I think I saw a couple jackets that night so yeah, you may be right.

Saw a lot of passengers just wearing SW t-shirts, but a lot in some really great elaborate costumes. We had a few in a mixology class we took that day. They made the class even more fun. In case anyone is wondering, I wasn't able to get to guest services until late on the first day, and there were still lots of openings for all of the different drinking classes. Our class was full by the time it occurred on Thurs.

Was your pirate night suppose to be to be Wednesday? I'm just trying to figure out if ours is listed wrong.

Not that I'm aware of. It could just be listed wrong or they changed the itinerary. You'd have back to back fireworks nights if it's Wednesday with SWDAS on Thursday.

Exactly. Maybe your cruise was the exception with the double fireworks.
