When you pack 5 into a studio that was designed for 4 people. Basically 2 adults and 2 kids. You know they will need to repair/referb much more frequently.
Dues will just go up faster.
Interesting because that method suggests that one of the reasons Disney changed the VWL, BWV, and BCV studios to hold five was to shift a larger share of the total annual costs of those combined hotel and DVC resorts to the DVC side.
They shared that method of allocation at an annual meeting back when BLT had a larger increase and someone asked about it. 3 or maybe 4 years ago? Could be a little longer. When they started adding 5 to studios I always thought it was done as a benefit for Disney hotels. They could point to it being requested by members all the while knowing they could allocate just that little bit more expense and have the justification for it.
Has anyone received the annual notice for Aulani yet? It is not showing up online and when we called Member Administration they said they weren't issued yet but should be mailed out by the 20th. Last year our Aulani notice never showed up online, only how much we owed. We got a written copy in the mail around Christmas.
Does that mean that the Association doesn't have to approve the Aulani expenses and dues increase at the meeting?
Do we know the date that the final 2017 MF statement will be seen online?
I've paid partially which has been credited but am waiting for the actual bill. I guess I could 'do the math' but I thought I read that Poly is going to get some kind of small credit from last year.
Not sure what that's all about.
