2. Are the characters at the preparty on the map anywhere? Or is Minnie just meeting at her house per usual?

Most of the characters I saw were either in the center of town (near where the food stands are) or across the way in Toontown Park.

3. Can you explain what ToT is (I'm assuming some sort of treat trail?) I'm pretty familiar with DL but I'm totally confused by what you're talking about as far as what this path is and what it goes to. haha.

When I see ToT, I usually think of Tower of Terror, but I think it means "trick-or-treat" as well. I'm guessing the PP was talking about the two treat trails along Big Thunder Trail. Those were far less busy than some of the others.

Are Pirate Mickey and Minnie out during the day or is this the party only?

I only saw them during the party. Mickey and Minnie were in their "old" Halloween Town outfits during the day (the same ones as in previous years).

We were at the party on Friday the 22nd and Jack Sparrow was definitely out at one of the meet and greet photo spots during the party, he was at the entry location for the paddlewheel ship, longish line but nothing near as bad as the Oogie popcorn bucket. You had to be looking, you wouldn't notice what character was taking a turn without checking closely. He looked Amazing!! But if you asked over there they might be able to tell you if he is scheduled for a turn. We've taken pictures with him on Disney cruises so we didn't do it here. He looked Perfect.

He must alternate with the Peter Pan crew. I saw Peter Pan and Wendy at that location on Monday during the party (along with Pirate Mickey and Minnie).

Hope you got to ride it!!! When we were there this weekend, it was closed from 4-6pm, but if they open it at 5pm and you are already in the SB line, I hope you got to ride it!!! FUN!

I'm not sure what time we saw Jack Sparrow but it was definitely dark out then, maybe between 7:30 to 8:00, it was fully dark as we went on Thunder Railroad then. Great place for a meet and greet, with the paddlewheeler Mark Twain and the spooky foggy lake, we passed by later and then it was Capt Hook with I believe maybe Tinkerbell the 2nd time we went by- awesome party!

We asked a vendor last night who had no line and heard they have sold out of Oogie Boogie popcorn holders park-wide. With no more inventory expected until October 7. Ten days. Sold out. And I saw 1 person with 4. Expect to see some on eBay. Wish Disney planned a little better for their merch & had some limits on purchases. Sigh.

This info is incorrect - we were in the park yesterday and they were selling them at the cart in NOS. Line is pretty long, takes about 20-30 mins to get through. We were there ~ 11.30-12.30.
I wasn’t going to get one, I think I’m the only one who thinks they’re just a bit meh.....LOL but I mentioned to my son and he reckoned he wanted one so we lined up. I’d been in the NOS area for an hour or so before watching the line whilst eating beignets / sitting around and it stays about the same & there doesn’t seem to be any shortage of them. Most people were buying 2-3 of them that I saw.

I just took a survey about MHP and one of the questions mentioned a pre-party in Star Wars Launch Bay and another in Fantasyland Theatre, along with Toontown. I knew about the Toontown pre-party (and that's the one with the signage at the entrance). Has anyone heard about or seen anything happening in Star Wars Launch Bay and/or Fantasyland Theatre?

We are going to next Tuesday's Halloween Party and plan to watch the fireworks and then the 2nd parade. Any tips on where to be when the 1st parade ends to get a good spot to see fireworks? Thanks!

I don't think they have a specific time when they appear, but it won't be while the Cadaver Dans are performing on the Rivers of America (7, 8, 9, 10, and 10:45 pm). The Cadaver Dan set is about 15 minutes long, so I would aim to either hang around the Rivers after the Cadaver Dans finish up a set or get there half past the hour.

I saw them out on Friday night; it was Pluto, Donald, Chip and Dale in the pirate attire out on the raft. They were basically dancing, goofying around, waving at the crowds, etc. It was cute.

This is my plan for tomorrow night's party.
Get there around 5ish or before. I plan on parking at the Toy Story lot. Alot easyer to get in and out of for me and less driving time home.
After getting into the gate depending on time go to the shops on main street and the candy palace. Then either over to toon town or if there is enough time to go to the shop in adventureland across the way from the JC. Then I would go toTT from there.
After TT I would go to DCA and check out Carsland and hopefully get the macaroon I saw on the treats on a link someone posted on this thread.
Then back to DL and go trick or trating and go see Chewie and the pricesses and do more trick or traeting untill the night is done.

We saw Chip & Dale, Donald and (I think) Pluto Friday night. They were acting silly and waving at the party goers. Once they left it was about 5 or 10 minutes later that the Cadaver Dans appeared on the same raft for their Halloween song set.

We went Friday night, and I did not notice anything going on in the "pre-party" time frame in these locations, but I didn't go in the Launch Bay at that time. During the party, there is a treat trail that runs throughout the Launch Bay, and Chewy and Darth were meeting in their usual LB locations during the treat trail. That was a lot of fun for us! Also during the party, there were princesses meeting in the Theatre (I think the Fantasyland one??? It is the one in the round near the hub?). We were allowed to meet either Anna and Elsa, or two other rotating princesses. Not sure if this is the theater you are talking about...
