2016 Package payment in full due by?

I know that it has always been payment is due on a package 45 days prior to check in. I had heard that in 2016 they have changed it to 30 prior to check in. Can anyone confirm this?

It is 30 days now.

I have a package booked for April 4-April 12. I have to be paid in full by March 5.

I'm book for Jan 30th - Feb. 5th and I'm due in full on Dec. 16th.

So it may depend on how far into 2016 your trip is.

Judging by this limited sampling, it looks like it may have more to do with when you booked your 2016 trip rather than how far into 2016 the trip is...

Im very happy with this change btw. Going from 45 to 30 days doesn't seem like a big difference but for some people its a big help!

I contacted my TA about a package for 2016. In her quote it states 45 days.

I know for packages through WDW it is 30 days. I'll deal with the 45 days for the deal.

We leave on January 12th for our trip, our payment was due by December 13th (We've already paid, but we do still have 2 days). So even for earlier in the year it appears to be 30 days.

Hmm, maybe it's because our trip has been booked for a long time, almost a year. Well before they announced the change. I wish I had those extra two weeks, but I can hopefully squeak in my final payment tomorrow. LOL

I made my initial reservations for the end of March 26 2016 in early November and adjusted it just last weekend. My final payment is due on February 26 2016.

Through Flight Centre up here in Canada my husband and I are checking in for the 24th of May to the 31 of May and our final payment is due 15 May. That's definitely not 30 days...

No worries. Room only is payable in full when you check in. Packages have to be paid in full 30 days out.
