Hi yall!

Sooooooooo what do we think is the percentage chance that Free Dining actually drops on Monday 4/25. I know we have heard the rumors... but has this 4/25 date actually been leaked from WDW? Or was this just someone's educated guess from analyzing previous years free dining offers? And are we certain that Disney is even going to offer Free Dining this year?

I'm just curious what everyone else's thoughts are on this subject.

I hope it is Monday, or else I took a vacation day for nothing! I'm planning an all nighter.

We went last November and the bounce back offered was a typical room discount.

Do you recall what the dates were for the typical room discount BB offer? That may give us some insight as to what could possibly be released for RO discounts for the fall...

These are questions we've spent 220 pages trying to answer. Our sources are great - not sure where they get the info from, but it's been solid and they are trusted. Watch for The Dirty Steve and Black. I don't know about the percentage chance that FD will drop on Monday. We can't say with 100% certainty that free dining will be offered - it's fairly certain, pretty certain, most probably, but not 100% - maybe 95%? The date it drops, the dates it covers, the resorts it includes - these are all murkier.

Our travel agent just called and said that she's hearing that FD will drop sometime this weekend. Take it with a grain of salt but I wasn't sure if it ever dropped on a weekend?

Do you ever think that perhaps there is someone at Disney who actually watches these boards and times some of this stuff to deliberately drive us nuts?

Oh wow, that seems like a lot of walking to me! I want to try CBR but I'm afraid of all the talk about how far everything is. I've done the walk from POFQ to POR and I thought I was going to die, lol. To be fair, it was 90+ degrees, we had just come from a park, and I was 6 months pregnant with round ligament pain. I am just surprised the walk from Aruba to the food/pool was even longer! I wish POFQ wasn't excluded from FD.

They have a bridge which makes it shorter. But the bridge was closed when we were there

That would be bizarre. We know Disney schedules extra phone staff on the days they plan a promo release. Would they want to pay EXTRA staff whatever the weekend rate is? I will put nothing past Disney's quest to try to trick we who speculate about their "plans" but .... it would make more sense to pay the M-F rate to the larger than usual staff. Especially given the recent cutbacks in park employees.
