Coincidentally, as soon as I read the dad's report, I went to look at my room choice and the website is acting up again. :sad2:

IF there is an offer for disney visa, we will probably have to call. In the past, you could not book the disney visa offer online.

I keep hovering on booking now and waiting to see what comes out. By the rumor, my dates will not be included. But I just have a nagging feeling to wait and see what happens. We're going with or without the ddp. We already have flights booked to disney. Return flights haven't even been released yet.

I just went to check it out and the last update was yesterday at 7:59 PM. I don't know if the update was to add this information or something else? I'm curious as well! It appears as if its the most recent addition to his post, by the way he words it as the update to the update to the update, lol! But I can't tell for sure!
I am fairly sure he has had that up for a few days.

This is going to drive me nuts! LOL. Just knowing it's available but not being able to "modify" or add it until hours later in the morning! I'm going to go insane! LOL

If I book a reservation today online, when FD comes out can I call and have it added to a ressie made online?

Also what kind of reservation should I make? Room only, or room with tix?

TIA!!!

@thedirtysteve... I am new to all of this, was just wondering if the rumor for last year was an early release for Disney visa holders also, but then happened to come out for everyone together

Don't make a reservation yet
I can see where Steve is correct. They offer these when they project down times to get people to come. Spring and fall are slow because kids being in school so they have to entice people to come stay with them, so by how many rooms are available they will know if they are down or not and then offer. But if people are holding three different reservations to them it shows that people are coming so why offer anything. The more empties they have the better the offer, or the offer of FD. I remember last year the rumor was they were not going to do FD anymore. So we shall see what is released. I think this is right.

I am wondering if I used the right magical TA, I sent in a quote request 2 nights ago and still do not have an answer.....
Make another request. It happened to me a few years ago. Nobody gave me a quote after a few days, so I made another quote and they got back to me within a half an hour. We used them last year for the first time. They're awesome! :thumbsup2

We are driving in on our first night and will only use one credit for dinner maybe two if we do lunch. We have always planned on upgrading to the deluxe plan no matter what we do. (Just how we like to travel) So we are saving the upgrade for three adults for that day. That is a $213 savings right there. we already have the six day tickets. When I run the numbers it's $4688 for six days with qs free dining upgraded to deluxe for three adults v $4389 for the same package but have a room only ressie for our (4,059 package + $330 room only at end). I'm even considering going down to the little mermaid room for our last night to save more. Or I can get two rooms at Cbr and for essentially the same thing for $10 cheaper. That's without any discount on the room. Just wondering if our dining credits really don't expire until midnight the day we check out.
I don't understand, you already have your tickets?? In order to get fd you need to book a package with no less than three nights with two day parkhopper or water park tickets.
