Just my opinion, but I think they will continue to increase requirements, and blackout dates until FD is no longer a good deal. Then, they can do away with it "due to loss in consumer interest".

I'm wondering; if those dates are correct with October not being included, could that be why they're taking so long to release MNSSHP tickets? To see how people react booking wise?
If you're trying to figure out the dates of MNSSHP you can look at the calendar and if the MK closes at 7pm that's most liked a party night.

Last year, an add popped up before the promotion went live (just like this year again) and it said 6 night/7 day vacation. It also said that on the main site but the only requirement was the 3 night/2 day park hoppers.

If the disney cruise lines for 2017 are opening tomorrow, there is no way free dining will be the same day. With all the online bookings, the servers would crash and then the phone lines would go insane shortly after. Earliest will be next Monday. I also remember seeing something not long ago about free dining being released on the 21st which is a Thursday.

Does anyone know how many days notice we will get before it goes live?
We didn't get any notice from Disney. It was all pretty much a concrete rumor from here on Dis that we knew it was getting released.

This is our list if we can't get a standard at CBR..
1. Any standard room at any moderate resort
2. Any preferred or water view room at any moderate resort
3. Standard room at a value paying to upgrade dining (preferably Pop)
4. Preferred room at a value paying to upgrade dining (Preferably Pop)
Your list is like mine except we threw in WL as a back up plan because of the construction a standard room there is not much more than a preferred at CBR.

We are booked at POFQ, but if FD isn't offered there, is CBR our next best choice? I thought about upgrading to Saratoga Springs because with 30% off the rack rate there (if offered), we'd save about $1260, so we'd basically get our FD money back in the form of an upgrade, but I'm really thinking about saving that $1200 and just booking at CBR. A few pros and cons of CBR? Is this ok on this thread? I'm new here in case it's not obvious, haha.
