Pin codes are random. People say the more things u sign up for or look at trip prices or even order planning dvd gives u a better chance. We had one two years ago. I booked CbR with free dining which was reg offer. Then found out my mother wanted to go. So had to rebook at POR. Was told on phone that POR was not included in free dining. CM said I had a pin code which will work. Didn't know I had one. And didn't know if she just gave to me. It was awesome

As far as anyone knows there really is nothing special one can do to get a PIN code. We personally have never received one, which is equally disappointing and frustrating. The best advice I have seen is to sign up for all things Disney, such as the Disney Store, etc. This would provide them a way to send you one either via email or regular mail. You also can always call Disney to see if you have one. Good luck!

Ohhh got it. Thank you!! I've been signed up for a few Disney things for a while, but lately I've been trying to sign up for everything I can being that we're planning a trip for this November and I'm trying to watch for as many money saving offers and/or tips as possible!

I understand that. I cannot recall if there were many offers for November last year. If there is it most definately will not include the period near Thanksgiving. Also Jersey week is in November and that is not likely to be reduced.

Last year, we received lots of helpful tips from posters such as The Dirty Steve and others (thank you!) so we had a pretty good indicator for when it would be released. I live on the West Coast so I set my alarm for 3 AM and 4 AM. But I also stayed up until midnight watching. I actually woke up on my own at 2:00-ish and decided to check. When I did the offer was there. I was able to book 4 standard rooms at POP (using my account and my parents account) online with no issues. It was just what we wanted!! I could not go back to sleep after that because I was so excited. I spent the rest of the night and day celebrating with others on the Dis and my family who were so happy to have a crazy person to book their trip in the middle of the night.

I have to agree about staying calm and not panicking. There were several times that I was positive that FD was not going to be offered or that they were going to cut it off for people going in December so that it was not for their full length of stay. I was looking at other options due to some of the rumors. But in the end, it all worked out and we had a wonderful trip! Dreams can come true!

How exactly does it work when booking more than one room online? TIA!

If we don't manage to get FD for CBR or POR then our next option will have to be off-site or not gong at all. With it being 5 of us the values are out unless I rent 2 rooms and that will start adding up fast.

We are in the same situation. Really hoping for POR or CBR!

I'm so tired of checking. If free dining isn't offered we are cancelling our current reservation and switching to the TA that offers the special deals. $2500 is our absolute limit and we can't go over that. If FD isn't offered and we pay for it, even staying at POP with DDP will be $2700 for the week. I'd hate to do that but business is business and we really have to stick to our budget

I would just like to welcome you all to this thread!

I somehow hadn't selected to receive email on this post so imagine my delight when I hadn't looked at it in a few days and came back to see all of this activity.

After hearing the single rumbling of April 25 to May 2 as possible booking dates, I did check into Disney Dad. He has a position of saying you should book now even though so many would say that "throws off the balance so you should wait".

I guess I am going to continue to wait and hope. Due to my oldest in college, I can only go in December so it is free dining or pay for it OOP and lose some of the luster of the trip. (My kids don't live in a world where they can order whatever they want).

I am excited to see you all here, sharing this with me and keeping the positive vibe!

What time EST has someone booked over the phone and also online?

Pin codes are only out through Aug 28th right now.

I actually called yesterday morning to ask if I had a pin code and was told they only go out to August 28th so far. She actually looked into it for me, but laughed and said they were called Uniwue Offer Codes now.
I also got a nice follow up email from the Vacation Planner cast member, which was new to me.

Hey everyone! We are past FD-ers, but new Disney visa card holders. However, our current reservation is booked on a different credit card because we just received the Disney visa. How does a pre-release of FD to Disney visa members work? Can I still modify my existing reservation online and just add in the Disney visa card to my account in that transaction? Do I have to make an additional deposit using my Disney card? Do they send a special link, or does the offer appear to the general public but only those with the card can finalize a new or modified reservation for FD?

Thanks!! :)

you will have to call to book using the DVisa advance booking window and put an additional $200 deposit on your Disney Visa card.
There is sometimes an e-mail for Disney Visa card holders but if I get it at all, its usually late in the day. Best place to hear if the discount has gone live is here on the Dis Board;people will start posting pretty quickly if they are able to book . I plan to be on the phone at 7AM if it happens to book.

If my original reservation is held with a Disney Visa will I be able to modify when the offer goes live online or will I have to call as well?

you will still have to call, the DVisa advance booking window is never available on line.
Also a DVisa holder, wasn't expecting the early booking option for DVisa due that it hasn't been offered in the last couple years. WOULD BE AWESOME IF IT IS AGAIN!

However I have a question that without a doubt has been answered but I didn't see it on the pages I went through:

We already have a vacation booked. If/when FD is offered and I call(if there is a DVisa window to book FD)/go online to get FD, do i still have to cancel my entire vacation package and rebook a new one or can FD be added to my current package if the package meets all the requirements for the FD promotion?

And if it do have to rebook and entirely new vacation package will I be able to transfer the payments I have made to the new one?

THANKS FOR THE HELP!

The castmember can modify your reservation as long as they have the availability for your entire stay.

It would be awesome to give the DVisa holders that perk again :)

To answer your question: IF you have a package booked and the dates and hotel you have booked on your ressie are included in the FD requirements AND there are rooms still available in the FD pool of rooms, you would be able to add the FD promotion to an existing reservation IF you booked the reservation and paid the deposit with your DVisa.
If you did not use your DVisa to book your original ressie, you can still add it but you will have to pay $200 (the deposit amount) with your DVisa at the time you add the FD promo.

Unfortunately, Disney always states that no package price is guaranteed until it is paid in full so making ANY changes to an existing reservation can cause your existing reservation to be charged the New ticket increase.
I haven't paid our trip in full yet, we are going no matter what but I sure hope that we don't get hit with the higher ticket prices IF the FD promo comes out and if we decide to add it.:crazy2:
