Called again this am to see if any Monorail resorts opened up that might not show on the MDE . Nothing at all in November .

I had a good CM so chatted her up a bit. She said the monorail resorts were very very limited on this offer and she didnt see anyone get it for November.

Strange to lock out those resorts.....mostly value resorts seem to be included. My thinking is WDW knows there values are over priced for what you get . In order to compete with the orlando hotels that are much nicer in the same price range they are offering FD .

Its a smart move . Personally I have never stayed at WDW values because there is always a much nicer hotel in town with better price , and transpotation included (often with breakfast)

Shame.....for the dollars spent, might have to start doing this for the deluxes, and st rent a stretch limo for the week, its probably cheaper.....

I wish I could get the option of a value (2 rooms) or CBR or POR that sleeps 5. We have to work with my daughters work schedule and the only time that works for us in FD is 9/27-10/3 and there is nothing but deluxe available. If you want to go during our week, you can get the Poly or Grand Floridan, both on the monorail. We were able to snag a suite at ASMu but with 5 adult ladies (all normal size but 1 that is tiny), I am not so sure about the pull out sofa and chairs to sleep on.
We are keeping our eyes pealed :magnify:for something to open up

Let me chime in and give some of you a heads up....

TA's can place holds on reservations for 72 hours. This gives them time to discuss any changes with their client as well collect payment information for their deposit which is due 72 hours after the hold is in place.

If I were trying to hunt down a room, which is not available now, 12:01pm Eastern time on Friday, April 29th may be an excellent time to find one online! All deposits would have to be in by the close of business on April 28th for reservations made yesterday!!
Thanks great info!

I'm ready for more rumors if it'll help me get FD for POR! Or CBR!

I AM GETTING READY TO CANCEL A FREE DINING. anyone looking for Oct 1-8 at all star music family suite. Maybe it'll be back in the system soon

I'm looking for a suite! Here's hoping I can snag it! Thanks!

Awesome, thanks for this!! So that's noon on Friday, and not midnight? Thanks again - my friend is trying to book FD for the same week that I'm going so we're stalking the website. :D

That is exactly what I had to do too. I got a confirmation of the new booking, but also had to put down the new deposit. I'm just worried about the 3500 bucks I had paid toward the POR ressie LOL..Hopefully it will transfer or refund to my account n a day or 2.

I would guess you would have to call if you wanted it to transfer. I think there was a statement on the cancellation page that said it would take a few business days for the refund to come through so hopefully you'll see it back in your account next week.

SORRY!!!!! 12:01AM

My phone and I are having issues!!!

So I swore up and down we weren't going this year and I was only watching for fun. Then came the rationalization stage "what if we can't go next year? What if we stayed in a value to save money?" etc. Next came " We'll I just get up early and see if anything is even available". Now we're booked for our fall vacation!
LMFAO!!!!!!that's how it starts...this is why my 6yo son had over 100 days at Disney.....have fun!!!!!!!!

We stayed at Music a couple of trips ago and that's where we are going this year as of now, unless Pop pops up. We liked it.....like Pop a little better. But where we were we could either walk to Music for the busses or Sports across the parking lot. Food court was being renovated so we had to do Sports for that. We use our room to sleep anyway. Have a great vacation.

Thanks for the info. We absolutely love Riverside and French Quarter and even love CBR but resorts at POR win out for us because of the boat to Downtown Disney (Disney Springs -- I need to get used to that one!!). We have stayed at POP before and liked that too. I am just excited to go but had my heart set on POR (but these are first world problems and I will get over it :charac2:

I need a POP for November 15th - I will trade a POP Starting August 23??? any takers????
