sooooo......while we are waiting.....whats everyones plan...up all night? or multiple alarms and try to sleep in between? im just curious
Definitely staying up past midnight. Then, if adrenaline allows, maybe get 2-3hrs sleep, setting my alarm for around 3am. Then checking every hour after that. Pot of coffee on. Maybe some WDW dvd's on the ready. (we have recorded some of the WDW specials that are on the "Destination" channel on tv.). DD15 says she'll be up with me.....we'll see how long that lasts! Hope to get to bed early tonight and sleep in a bit tomorrow to "bank" some additional sleep hours beforehand

I'm going to sleep once the baby is asleep (around 830) and then sleeping until 12. So it would be great if it released early or else I'll be up all night. Lol

sorry if this is a duplicate question, the pages keep growing and trying to find an answer can sometimes be overlooked when I start to read-and read-and read.....I have gone on line and logged into my MDE, I look to see if I can modify(hoping that I could go this way IF/WHEN fd is released. all I get when I pull up our reservation is that I have to call. is this because we have 2 rooms with our resi? I would love to do one room but with 2 teenage girls we need/like the extra room and bathrooms for comfort and sanity(some think its wrong, Ive heard it but it is what it is and it makes us a better traveling family) not sure if the resi will change and allow us to modify-anyone ever have this issue?

Wow - I finished reading thread #1 yesterday and now thread #2. I'm a bit dizzy. But now I have some questions of my own . . .

Our trip will require two rooms (no matter which hotel we stay at). One of the rooms must be fully handicapped accessible with a roll-in shower. Will those types of rooms fall into the categories available for free dining?

Because we need two rooms, I had originally planned on staying at a value and upgrading the dining plan. However, I know realize that if we stay at a moderate, we would not have to upgrade. Can someone remind me the cost difference between the two plans?

And unfortunately I have to work on Monday (gotta pay for this trip somehow). If it is Monday evening before I call, will anything be available??

TA's can modify your reservation on-line as soon as the deal drops. But many TAs don't stay up all night waiting for it and have standard hours. You can always book your own reservation, cancel the original one you had, and then transfer the new one to the TA.

Thank You! Unfortunately I probably won't be able too as I will be at work so I will most likely have to let me TA handle it and hope for the best...

Ok guys, am I crazy to want to try a deluxe? Currently I have 9 nights booked at POR 9/6-15. We are going regardless of free dining, but it would be nice to get. If we can get the FD, I am thinking of doing a split stay, 6 nights POR and 3 either at YC or BWV. There are 6 of us: 2 adults, DD8, DS 7, DS4, and DD2. This would be only year that we could afford a deluxe since we can still do a 5 person room. I was thinking of doing the 6 nights free dining (hopefully) with a 7 day water park and more ticket and 3 nights deluxe at a RO discount and OOP for food. This would add about 1200 to the price. We would be able to get most of our table service and character dining out of the way with free dining and would probably just do qs for the last 3 days. I guess my question is, do you all think the extra $1200 to stay for 3 nights at a deluxe is worth it? We have only ever stayed at POR and love it. After this year, I just cannot ever see us splurging for a deluxe to fit our family. What would you guys do?? Any advice? Thank you!!

I am actually on a trip with friends without my laptop. Bad timing! I am sure i will be up late so i will be anxious to check. Then i will probably wake up around 4am to check again if needed.

Does anyone know if admission to Disneyquest is still included in the "Water Parks and More" ticket? It no longer mentions it on their site. I can find the price to purchase them separately, but $43 is too steep for something like that.
I'm pretty sure Disneyquest is closed, or if not it's closing very soon.

I'm up all night, baby! Woo! Party in the free dining thread!
I'll be up with you!

I am wanting to ask a similar question. We were originally thinking of booking a mod, but have decided to go with the Yc instead if we can. In my mind I think it is worth it to be able to walk to Epcot and walk back for a swim during the day. Would be interested to read other people's thoughts.

I kept searching and was able to find the answer in this thread in case anyone wanted to sub it:

Looks like because the NBA thing fell through, Disneyquest will remain open, likely until 2017. And there was a confirmation that the "Water Parks & More" ticket was still being accepted for admission in 2016.

Ok guys, am I crazy to want to try a deluxe?

I'm both a parent to four with the smallest still "free," which is why we are making a trip this year, AND a devotee of split stays. I also have a plan with the DDP part of my stay including our three character meals, Ohana, and Boma. So I say, Go for it! You're totally right about how awful (read: $$$$ and limited) the choices are for parties of 6+. You're making me re-think my own plans, because I, too, would love a deluxe.

I just booked my dog at Best Friends----should probably get on my reservation soon.----now if only the discounts would drop.
