I'm seeing nothing at CBR for my dates 9/28-10/4 also nothing for POR

I saw the Pirate rooms just a minute ago

Same here...ended up paying $384.24 more for the CBR pirate than our standard CSR standard room. Could have booked ASMu and upgraded and not paid anymore money, but we're four adults in one room and one of our guys is 6'4...didn't think the full size beds would cut it lol!

Pirate rooms are full size beds, you will be better off at the AS, we have stayed there with 4 adults, it is very manageable and my DH is 6'2"

How long does it take on My Disney Experience to show the change? I received the confirmation email that I changed resorts and have the free dining.

Mine showed the change right away. Which really surprised me, since I don't think MDE has ever been quick to update lol

So - I fell asleep. And now there is no availability where we were hoping to stay, of course. I just don't know if I should book it anyway, in something we didn't really want that is going to cost a thousand dollars more, or wait and see if the resort we would like becomes available later on.

I think I'll just be waiting. Seems silly to book something that we probably wouldn't even use in the long run. But then all of last night that I did manage to stay up is like it was for nothing. So unsure!

Check on a RO discount for where you really want to stay.

It took mine about 30 mins but if you click change again, you will see the current reservation.

I have a ressie at CBR. When I try to add FD, it changes my total to an extra $600. Should I just wait and call?

Got it! Wasn't able to modify original reservation, change button was there but then it said no other offers available but was able to make new reservation with exact same room category and dates so not sure what's the deal with that! And I can't cancel first reservation right now, says to call. But of course now I can't get back to sleep! Long day ahead!

So, it's possible to have two resort reservations for the same dates? I was able to book with free dining, but it was our second choice. My sister and our families are travelling together so I'd be nervous to change mine (if something becomes available) in case she can't change hers. Thanks for any info.

Is anyone familiar with the 'garden view' rooms at POR? I wanted the standard but they were not available this morning. We have only stayed in the standard and usually at Alligator Bayou when we have stayed there. Where are they normally located? I might be able to change to the standard when it does become available. But if the garden view is close like the ones at Alligator Bayou, I may just keep them.

I have a 6 night 5 day package at Art Of Animation in the family suite. When I try to change my reservation and add a "vacation offer" it says there are none.. I'm so confused. Has anyone else been able to book this or is getting this response?

Mine did this. I had to rebook under a new reservation and cancel the old one.

waiting for phones to open .Right now MDE says I have 4 rooms at POR. I only need 2 of the 4 (they made some sort of error when I called on Sat. because they have each member of my family double booked into a room). What do you think my chances are for getting FD applied, especially taking 2 of those rooms of the res.? My check in falls in the dates, but of course when I check availability, it's not available...

We've been twice in the last 3 years in november. Once at port orleans. I got port orleans for mid/end sept but we have a beach trip the beginning of that month. I like spreading out vacations bc we don't go that often.
I also got carribean beach for the end of november. we've never stayed there but been to disney twice during then.
So my question is, is it better to go to port orleans in sept and get the waterparks and more, or go in november and do park hoppers bc it will be too cold for waterparks.
staying 5 nights (5-6 day park passes) kids ages 7,5, 3

Nope, since you paid the deposit on the original reservation and were only modifying it, you do not need to make another deposit

Just got what I wanted CSR standard! Thank you to everyone and I can't believe you all stayed up all night! So what time did it drop? I see it happened when the site was down. One question, I remember last year that people were paying the small amount from child to adult ticket to age their children up, so they can order adult meals. What's the best way to do this and not have your child be a Disney adult forever? I have a 7 and 3 year old or should I just keep them as such?

I can't believe I want Halloween AND Christmas so badly that I still cannot decide.
Room offers are out, Free Dining is out. Speculation on costs is mostly over.

Oct 30-Nov 4 (5 nights) for Cabins + 10-day PH + DDP + MM = $5266 plus whatever the Halloween and Christmas parties will cost for five tickets to each.

Nov 28-Dec 4 (6 nights) for Cabins + 10-day PH + FD + MM = $4897 plus Christmas tickets for five

How much do I want Halloween? What if they make the MNSSHP tickets more than $100? What if it sells out before we can get 10/31 tix?
Wow, I do have to stand in awe of how much FD beats a Room Discount for our party (3 Disney adults + 2 kids).

Neither could I, but got a great quote for POP from the "Magical" TA of $1548 for 6 nights and 5 day tickets with 3 in the room and $1246 with 2 in the room. All 10 +

So as fun as this was, so help me God, I AM BOOKING A BOUNCE BACK OFFER WHEN I GO IN SEPTEMBER.

I will sleep much easier knowing that free dining is already taken care of lol

To get the FD offer, you likely had to upgrade room types as well as add the ph/wp&m option.
