Finally some Mix it, Make It, Celebrate It info!! from that TIW link above..

Agreed, my trip is spice mixing? For $60/pp, I'll pass. Shame as this is the thing I was most optimistic about.

I was just going to ask how much they are, but $50-$60pp is way too much for what they are offering. There's a cupcake decorating one on our big F&W day that I thought my BFF might enough as she's not a huge drinker and our running group, who will all be in town for W&D, is the Cupcakes, but I don't need to pay $50-$60 to decorate a cupcake! That's ridiculous!

Anytime when it was something that it was a Disney visa enclusive thing I always had to charge to the card. It really it is the only way for them to verify.

So as it stand now
18th at 7 am for AP only for seminars and demos
19th at 7 am for AP/DVC/ Disney visa and TiW For demos, seminars and "special events" that we still don't what exactly which ones.
21st everyone for everything ?

What about the 20th?
It says 19th for AP holders. Is the Passholder site wrong?

I called to book a package last week after it was posted on the Disney Food Blog, and the person I was speaking to had no knowledge of the packages yet, or when they'd be released.

July 19th at 7 am for AP/DVC/ Disney Visa and TiW - for demos, seminars and some of the special events.

July 21st at 7 am for everyone else and for all demos, seminars, and special events.

However I don't see anything on the WDW website for the dining packages. It appears that they have everything loaded for the other events on the dining page but nothing for the dining packages.

I guess there is no chance that we will know what the special events are :headache:.

If you're asking about what can be reserved for the early bookings on 7/19, no. Last year, you could book party for the senses, mixology, beverage seminars, culinary demos, some of the food and beverage pairings in France, Italy, and Japan, and I think the Parisian breakfast. You could not reserve any of the special events that were scheduled at the Disney Resort Hotels. The available tickets will be limited on 7/19. If you you're eligible to call on the 19th and there's an event you're interested in, I'd call in. People will start posting on this thread on the morning of the 19th the events they were able to reserve.

According to the Disney Food Blog, the early booking on the 19th starts at 7am for Chase Visa holders and 9am for the other categories entitled to prebook...

TiW email and DVC site both say 9am. Who knows...

You'd think the booking schedule would be the easiest thing to clarify since, in theory, they are training and scheduling the operators accordingly. :sad2:

Do we know the design concept for this year? Book signings?
There will be book signings this year but no specific info has been released. I haven't seen any information on this year's merchandise. They did away with having a "theme" for the festival several years ago. Every year, its always "Taste your way around the world".

Book Signings and Meet & Greets

Meet celebrated authors and other food- and wine-industry personalities at one of their special Festival appearances. Bring purchased books or other merchandise along for a personalized inscription or autograph—it’s the perfect gift for your favorite foodies!

For featured authors and personalities, check the daily schedule in the park Times Guide or visit the Festival Center Information Desk.

Yeah I am calling on the 19th we are AP, TiW and we have a Disney visa. I am booking some seminars anyway. I just wish they would put all the information out clearly. If I wasn't booking seminars it would be a waste of everyone's time to call and be an hold just to check what special events I can book.

What's sad is that I am not even surprised - last year's booking I think was the worst (in my opinion) in recent memory. Complete trainwreck. My expectation for this year is that it not be as bad as last year. I just can't believe my expectations have dropped so low.

Hello fellow F&W Festers,
Does anyone know if there exists a map of the food booths....what booths are where??

I'm expecting the worst year yet. So far...,

They have released 2 days for AP/DVC/TIW
Are doing Chase on the same day as all other pre booking
Have provided practically no detail on sampler package and given no clue as to status of Permium Package

It's going to be crazy.
