Overall, I would say everything was quite good. Of course, as someone else pointed out, these were tastings for this event, so I'll reserve final judgment until we see what is actually offered then.
My favorite was surprisingly one of the desserts. That's surprising because I'm not big into desserts generally, but the Quesito blew me away. I'm partial to the combination of guava and cream cheese already, and the way they prepared that was so good - flaky pastry, crispy sugar coating on the outside, tang of the cream cheese, and the tropical sweetness of the guava. I always like guava to a "tropical strawberry" kind of flavor. I'm actually going to be tempted to get one of those every time I visit the festival.
The scallop was excellent. The combination of the earthy mushrooms and the truffle in the celery root emphasized the sweetness of the scallop. That one was only disappointing because we were told it would be replacing the scallop dish from Scotland that has been one of the highlights the last two years. So the new dish is great, but that doesn't mean I don't still want the one with the bacon and creamed spinach.
So if I can say that the rest were all wonderful, there are some that I might not try again. The brisket was smoky and tender, but the pimento cheese was too sweet for me. If you like pimento cheese, I expect you'll enjoy that dish. And the Greek nachos...while the concept was good, the vegan tzatziki also read as sweet to me, which isn't what I expect with that kind of sauce. I didn't ask what they used to make the sauce that wasn't dairy. Also, the cake from Greece was extremely dense. I hope they work on that recipe before the fall. The flavor was good, but it was far denser than even a pound cake would be.
