2016 Disneyland Paris Half Marathon

I have been checking my junk and spam filters since May 1 when I first discovered the problem. I can understand if the first message ended up in spam or junk email, but not the second message that I was told was resent. I have been given a phone number from runDisney in FL along with an email address. So far I have just received an auto reply. They aren't open until Monday (2am tonight) so I will call as soon as they are open.

Has anyone heard of anyone else with this issue and how it was resolved? I have to believe I will be able to figure it out!

I can't figure out how to call this number. I've tried prefacing the number with 011 (code for international calling) and 33 (code for France) with no success. I am prepping for when I call at 2am tonight.

In answer to some other questions. I do have the medical certificate for and race certificates for Castle to Chateau. I just can't upload anything until I get my login information.

This is going to be my very first DisneyRun :D I will only do the 5k for medical reasons. Any idea if and how many characterstops you can expect on route?

Update to my registration issue. I called DLP customer care this morning. After being put on hold for a fair amount of time, I was told that they could not help me and I needed to email DLP.RUN.INFO@disney.com. I am so thankful that she took the time to let me explain that I had already done this twice and it wasn't working and I needed to have everything done by Wednesday or I couldn't run. I asked if she possibly had a phone number of someone I could talk to. After being put on hold again, she came back and informed me she had spoken to the back office and they would be sending me the registration link again today. If I didn't receive it, I was instructed to call back tomorrow. After finishing the phone call I had already received an email stating that they had just sent two notifications again. Needless to say, I did not receive the two important emails. I immediately responded to the email stating I didn't get the two emails. I requested to have the links sent to my husband's email if possible. Within 10 minutes I received another email informing me that they sent the links to my husband and requesting me to let them know if they came through.

Hallelujah! My husband received the two emails with registration information. Obviously, my email had been the issue all along. I have no clue what the issue is with my email. I even went to my server where the emails should have been if they had been received and there was nothing there. I had the biggest sense of relief when I finally got my usernames and passwords!!! I have to say I was very impressed with the immediate responses received from DLP RUN INFO!

There have typically been several character stops along the 5K route, but Disneyland Paris is a brand new location, so it's hard to know what to expect!

Ok thank you! I was hoping for several stops :) We'll see what DLP makes of it, at least they promised characters at the friday evening party so if I don't see them on route at least I've seen some there! :)

Characters is something Disneyland Paris does extremely well. I would be surprised if they would not pull out all the stops for this.

It is getting better in Paris characterwise, it was a mess when everybody just pushed themselves forward when there weren't any lines. Now with lines and a lot of meetingpoints Paris finally seems to get it! Plus there are still some roaming characters which always give an extra magical touch imo. Nothing better than turning a corner and see your favorite character when you didn't expect it to be there! :D :D

Not sure how many folks in the States have yet to book their airfare, but mine (out of Detroit) and my travel companions' (Aspen, Indy, Baltimore) have dropped across the board by an average of 48% from when we booked three months ago. Its a bummer that AirCanada doesn't have the same policy as SouthWest does when it comes to fares.

So, I booked my 3 night stay at the Sequoia with my race registration the day bibs became available. I have now purchased my plane ticket and am arriving on Thursday instead of Friday. I called the Disneyland Paris booking number today to add an extra day to my reservation at the race rate and was told that I could not add days to the front end of my reservation only the back end. I would have to book a separate 1 day night at the regular rate. I argued that there are race rates listed for Wednesday and Thursday night. Anyone else running into this problem?

Unfortunately we had the same problem. A couple of months ago we wanted to book an extra night (thursday) and had to book seperately for a higher rate too. Luckily with AP discount it wasn't that much higher but we were pretty upset about it because the official rundisney site still promotes the race rates.

Boo!!! The regular rate is 200 euros more per night and the exchange rate for my credit card is awful. Thanks!

It might be worth conisdering staying at one of the off-site hotels in the area just for the first night? There are some really nice hotels and the prices are really very good. I'll be at B B Hôtel Disneyland Paris from the Wednesday :teeth:
