2016 Disney Dining Plan

When do the finalize the Dining locations for 2016? I am a bit concerned by the current listing because a lot of restaurants are not listed. So does this truly mean that if they are not listed then they are not participating in the ADP? I am quite concerned and if the lists arn't updated I may have to cancel the ADP because it wont be worth it.

Please help to calm my fears!!

You will be fine; this happens every year and more than likely virtually, if not all of the same restaurants will be on there again.

I was worried too. So i went into the dining link and looked at all the restaurants we booked for our trip. Then i clicked where it said some dining plans accepted and it lists for 2016.

So what does 'Some Dining Plans Accepted' mean? I did not realize that the majority of the World Showcase was off limits to dining plans. I foolishly assumed the majority of Disney restaurants would be on the Disney dining plan. Oh, Disney, mostly I love you but sometimes you drive me nuts.

Usually, Some Dining Plans accepted is what is listed at a Table Service location, because they (obviously?) don't accept the Quick Service Dining Plan.

It says that on every restaurant. If its a quick service it doesnt require the other plans, if its a table service restaurant it wont take the quick service

As auroraborealis posted, "Some Dining Plans Accepted" refers to the fact that at TS restaurants the Quick Service plan is not accepted.

The many World Showcase restaurants that are not listed are the ones operated by a third party and not by Disney so they are the ones that had until the end of December to finalize their participation in the dining plans. A complete list will be published soon, but if you look at the 2015 dining plan list of restaurants most, if not all, of them will be back. There has only been one restaurant that was on the plan, dropped out and ultimately rejoined so I doubt the 2016 list will be much different from last years.

1) The DDP brochures are being updated.
2) WDW-owned eateries get their new DDP reimbursement contracts in October.
3) Non-WDW-Owned eateries renegotiate DDP reimbursement contracts in December.
4) So, there is a time lag for brochure publications.
