2016 Danube River Cruise Info

Hi Folks,

I was recently at an event where I had the chance to speak at length with an ABD executive and I shared the concerns and fears about overcrowded busses and excursions on the river cruises.

I was told that they are aware of this and are adding excursions to those already listed. They are certain this will help distribute guests and alleviate overcrowding.

I was told that the additional excursions are still in the "contract phase" and may not be announced until later or until much closer to sail date.

I was also told that ABD is aware of the DIS Boards and the feedback posted here. They are reading and listening to what you say.

Thanks for the follow up info, Kevin. It's great to know they are reading and listening and intend to make sure that everything goes off well with the new cruises. I did end up changing my trip from the first River Cruise (DVC) to ABD Greece as I was unwilling after my disappointing Baltics Add-on to take the chance, and I couldn't wait for more info (needed to start finding award tickets for airfare). ABD is such a great product, I've been sad with the direction they seem to be moving (away from guaranteeing trips and group sizes), and I really hope they make some positive changes in that regard as well. Thanks again!
