2015 Spring Dapper Day DIS Meet

Ha... if only it were that easy. I've only been in the lounge once, and I don't know if that particular member is going to be around and willing as they aren't a local. If you happen to get in though, and don't mind a tag along, you better call me!!!
It's a deal whoever! We'll call you, and you do the same if YOU get in! Until then, I guess we'll have to stick with the plan of sitting at the door step until someone feels sorry enough for us to let us go in with them. LOL!! *Picture DizMe and I sprawled out in front of the Club 33 door, then grabbing the ankle of the the person stepping over us, and holding on tight as they drag us in!* LOL!!! :rotfl2:

Hee hee!! Maybe we could pass ourselves off as therapy pets :dog2::dog:

This is totally off-topic, but are you actually wearing Minnie ears in your drivers license photo, Disneyluvr2!?!?!?! They let you do that?! If so, I'm pretty jealous that I didn't think of it...

Yes, I'm actually wearing my Minnie ears on my drivers license. I stuck them in my bag when I went to the DMV and when it came time for my photo, I whipped them out and with a big smile said "Can I wear my Minnie Mouse ears?!!" The DMV gal looked at me like I was crazy, looked at the gal next to her, shrugged her shoulders and said "I guess so. No one has ever asked before." So before she could change her mind, I put them on and smiled big! LOL!! To this day I have not found anyone that I've had to show my license to say they've seen Minnie ears before! LOL.

Just fly by speeding near any CHP officer and I am certain that he or she will be more than happy to oblige you! LMAO

I tried that and got a ticket. The officer was not at all amused my by my license. Definitely not a Disney fan! :sad2:
DizMe is wearing a tiara and diamond necklace and earrings on her licence! She looks like the queen of England!:thumbsup2

Wish I'd gone for a bigger tiara, but I was afraid they'd not let me wear it :)

Well, I'm glad I had DS try on his dapper outfit before I started packing, because he's outgrown every single bit of it! :faint: The waist on the pants is still too big for him, but the pants are too short, the sleeves on the shirt are too short, the vest is too short. The vest and shirt fit him around the chest just fine, and at least the tie and belt are still okay. Fortunately, I have another black pinstripe suit that I bought on clearance a few years ago and should (mostly) fit him now, but I need to find another lavender dress shirt now. And I need to scramble to get the pants altered to fit him. He's a skinny little guy (45.5" tall and 35lbs at 7 years old), but he's clearly grown since he last wore the outfit in the fall!

Hey, you could always make a casing in the bottom of the legs and run elastic through. Voila, knickers!

That is a GREAT drivers license pic!!! QUEEN of England is right!! (.....or of anywhere YOU like!!)

:flower1: :flower:

knickers could work...right now they're horribly high waters, and with his passion for crazy socks, the combo of too-short black pinstripe pants with the brown & red pizza patterned socks was a little overwhelming! :rotfl: Adding in the 3/4 length sleeves on his dress shirt and the shirt and vest ending above his belly button, and he was truly a sight to behold. I swear it all fit a few months ago, but then I realized it was probably October when he last wore it. Hmmm...maybe I should make sure I can still zip up my dress! :scratchin

And seriously, I love the mickey ears and tiara on your license photos! That is just genius and awesomely fun!

Well, I was going to say, just roll up his sleeves, but if his belly button is hanging out, it might be time for a new shirt and vest! LOL!! Darn kids! Why do they have to grow so fast? LOL!
