SeaWorld released it's event schedule for 2015. Returning next year are Bands, Brew & BBQ, Viva La Musica, Wild Days, Summer Nights, Halloween Spooktakular and Christmas Celebration.

A new addition for next year is Praise Wave weekends. I believe this was something that SeaWorld did many years ago and it's returning next year. It's a Christian Concert series with a special Praise wave Shamu show.

Next year, the Just For Kids, event isn't on the schedule.

Here is the link to check out which events are taking place next year and what days they are taking place.

Wow...didn't Bands, Brew and BBQ used to be 6 weekends long and run from early Feb-mid March?

It is listed as 3/7-3/29 now.

It looks like it went back to only 4 weekends like it used to be. And praise wave has 2 weekends now so that's probably where the other two Bands Brew and BBQ weekends went to.

I'm so glad Wild Days is returning! I'm interested in hearing more about Praise Wave as well (and which groups are performing).

Obviously they had issues booking concerts for Bands Brew and BBQ last year with Blackfish,it might take a couple of years to get more popular groups to come back again. What's obviously happening is they shortened the number of weekends at Sea World to require fewer performers and it doesn't look like Bands Brew and BBQ is coming in 2015 to Busch Gardens as the website hasn't even given a hint of its return but they are getting a Food and Wine festival at Busch that will be a must.

I'm really excited about food and wine at Busch Gardens. I hope it's as good as the EPCOT one. (But less expensive)

What is Wild Days? Description on the Sea World site was rather vague.

It happens on weekends in January (and a little bit into February). Each weekend has an animal-related theme, and there are different shows presented in Nautilus Theater on those weekends. For example, last year, they had a Jack Hanna weekend, a Sea Rescue weekend, and a penguin weekend. There would be different shows based on the theme.

I was there for a day during Sea Rescue weekend and watched the show. It showcased many of SeaWorld's rescue stories, and there was a panel of team members who were involved in rescues. They even brought out some of the animal ambassadors. There was an opportunity at the end of the show to meet and greet with members from the rescue team and get pictures with them.

I really enjoyed it and am very glad they are bringing it back. :) Hoping to go see Jack Hanna this time around.

It has nothing to do with not getting performers to want to come. And I have to say last years acts that replaced the cancelled acts were 10 times better then what was scheduled to appear. Last years Bands Brew and BBQ was really great. I have already talked with SeaWorld people who are planning the event for next year and they had not problem filling up the dates. They have everyone confirmed now. And this years event will be partnered with the USO which is going to make it even better than ever.

The Food and Wine Festival next year at Busch gardens was planned to replace Bands Brew and BBQ and will still feature concerts. The first act has already been confirmed by Busch gardens as Pentatonix. So even though its not Bands Brew and BBQ they still will feature the headline concerts.

Super excited for all the events next year and Praise Wave is going to be awesome.

Thanks! Sounds interesting -- and that's when we're going. Can't wait!!

Good to hear that the Food and Wine festival at Busch Gardens will also have concerts, the website just says entertainment and not concerts so it isn't clear. As far as last years concerts I'm not going to say the groups or comedians that played weren't good ,but there's definitely a downgrade when you have groups like the Beach Boys,Heart and Pat Benatar cancel and get replaced by comedians and some obviously less popular groups.I made it out for Hank Williams Jr at Sea World and Steve Miller band at Busch and they were both great but there weren't many other groups I was upset I missed, maybe only Kid Rock.

I think it just boils down to taste. Because to me people like Alan Jackson and Justin Moore and Gretchen Wilson were huge stars. But I like country music a lot. And Larry the Cable Guy ended up being so funny. It was a nice change. Really enjoyed that. To me they were much more exciting then REO Speedwagon, Willie Nelson or Heart

Actually the bands last year were better than the ones that cancelled. Most of the cancelling entertainment had performed there before so we had already seen them there. Alan Jackson, Hank Williams Jr, Gretchen Wilson, Kid Rock, Alabama, and even our local Sister Hazel put on great shows and filled the stadium and berm around the lake for each concert. Can't wait to see who they get.....already signed the book at work to get days off during BB&B.

I am right there with you. I would have only gone to 1 concert of the originals....been there done that -mostly repeats for SW concerts in the past. We actually went to 5 concerts instead and the stadium and berm were full for each one. Even sister Hazel a local band almost filled the stadium and they were fantastic! My sons were fans in the 90s and urged us to go see them. Glad we did....stadium full of Gators!

Hows do I see the dates for these events. I'm going in Sept. 2015. I want to make sure nothing is going on that weekend. Thank you
