Planning our April 2015 trip. Joining this thread with y'all!

*sigh* still waiting. We want to book for the last week of February and the first week of March...

Because it costs a LOT of $$$$ to fly to the US , and they tend to stay 2 weeks or more. Not sure that a trip of the magnitude could typically be planned for in 6 months or less. It is the same reason they only offer UK visitors "double discounts" - a Disney Vacation is a large financial and time commitment. Disney understands that and makes the trip as inviting as they can for overseas visitors.

Pfft, wish they would take that into consideration for Australian travellers

Ugh, try flying from Australia!! It's costing us 2-3 times what it would cost from the UK. Sadly we can't book any earlier either! Hanging out to get this locked in as flights are booked so we are not flexible at all!!

Waiting and hoping for little increases. I have 2 trips planned for 2015, 2 trips planned for 2016. What I want is refillable cups in the parks but that won't happen anytime soon.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!Unless something changes for 2015, you must purchase the room and tickets in order to book the dining plan.

You can book a dining package without tickets. I started a thread about it last spring. I think it's a test run to see how it goes. You can't book it on line, only through CRO. We have it booked for our September trip.

The thread about the ticketless dining plan package is on the dining plan board. Sorry, but I don't know how to post a link when using my phone.

The name of the package is Better Together. I have my fingers crossed that this option will be available for 2015.

I agree, you can now book ticketless packages by calling in. That's actually what I'm hoping to book for January. We are military and considering AP's this year so we won't be using regular tickets either way.

Six days till my ADR date! At this point it looks like I won't have the advantage of 180+10 and will have to make one each day. (Which should be fun since we are traveling during that time period.) We don't use credit cards though so making a RO and wasting that deposit, especially on a Deluxe resort, isn't worth it to me. And I've heard Akershus is sold out already for the beginning of the week we're there due to CRT being closed. I really wish Disney would get with it and offer rates in time for those booking January vacation packages!

Yipeee i thought i read that they were offering ticketless packages! We already bought our 10day hopper wpm non expiring but do want the ddp added on. Have a room booked now for april 2015

Awesome! We usually go in May and switched to June this year........I missed May! We are also going to try that - leave the day after our son gets out of school! How fun!!!! We will leave May 14th. Hoping for light crowds! When will you all go?

the last day of school here will be May 21st. so we will leave the 22nd. when we went last year, it was pretty crowded but i think alot of it had to do with we never went at rope drop. my kids thought that being at disney was the perfect time to finally sleep in till 10:30-11!! little punks but it also wasnt as bad as i was thinking. that was our first trip there.

SEPTEMBER!!!! I need marathon weekend in January - and need to finalise the trip (coming from Australia!) so hopefully it will be well before then...

That's kind of strange. The CM I spoke to day before yesterday told me packages are coming out July 20.

I would be willing to bet that they are wrong. In the last several years, they have been released anywhere from mid-July to mid-August. The last two years, it's been the mid-July dates.

Talked with a CM the other day who said packages usually come about Julyish. He said to keep checking back as they could come out soon. Hoping so!

This is accurate, and I would almost be willing to bet it will be this year too. Phone CMs just say anything, so they have an answer, even if it is an incorrect answer. I think that the fact that three people have been told three different months, shows that the phone cms still do not know when the 2015 packages will be released. That means nothing though, because they usually do not know ahead of time.

I'm not coming from Australia, but will be there the same weekend. I am stressing out about getting our ADR's all booked with no 180+10 advantage. But I refuse to drop a ton of money on a room only deposit just to have to have it refunded and put down the package deposit.

Just tried to book a ticketless package (I have an AP) - call the regular reservations line - they said they couldn't do it - is there a trick - or should I have called the AP line?

Yes, I would like to know too. I am an AP holder and have to do the same thing when I book my May 2015 dates.
