You know they said no corral changes last year as well... Seems like they failed to enforce that. It is my hope they enforce it this year but I have even higher hopes that the runD folks hire a proofreader! A literal read would mean we are all starting in the last corral.

I haven't dug up my pricing from last year, but if I'm remembering correctly for the big ones, I think the half and full went up maybe $10 each, Goofy $20 and Dopey $35. . .

Seem like fairly modest increases relative to how they sold last year and how other races have been selling this year.

I'll be surprised if anything longer than the 5k haven't sold out before June 24.

I checked my receipt from last year from the marathon, and I thought they dropped the price by $5. My receipt from last year shows I paid $175. The I forgot I registered on 6/28, so that was probably after a price increase.

I cannot recall what the Goofy was last year.

I recall Goofy #1 being $280. Goofy # 5 was $305 and I registered on January 12

Both of those would be equivalent to the full fare $400 for this year

Ouch. I wish we didn't need to commit so early on to these races! I really want to try Goofy, but I'm afraid it won't work out and then I will be out $350.
It's hard to predict what my fitness, financial situation, and life in general will be like that far in the future!

I just put down $350 for DDD and I am also buying a car in the next 2 months (possibly as soon as next week) and I'd love to be able to space out these big purchases! I didn't time this so well

Man, disney has got us all by the you know what! Prices go up and you have to register right away to get a spot. Time to decide what I'm doing in 2014.

With respect to your fitness at least, remember that there is a deferral option if anything should hamper your ability to participate physically.

Unfortunately there's not much help with the financial side of things! If it doesn't make sense in 2015 though you can always do another year - don't think it's going anywhere soon with the current popularity.
