2015 going up by 15-20%?

Someone called about 2015 rates and the rates quoted are about 18% MORE than last year for the same time frame.

An 18% increase in ONE year for a moderate resort??? That's just CRAZY!

While that sounds crazy, we won't know for-sure what the increase (if there is one) in rates will be until after July 30th when they open up the 2015 dates for booking.

If you make a reservation before the rates come out, they book it at the highest rate of the previous year, then adjust it when the actual rates come out. So the highest rate being 18% higher makes sense if you are comparing it to a low season rate.

I called today after being advised by a CM on an online chat, that I could book 2015 rates for sure at room only. The quote I was given was the exact same rate as 2014. I even did another chat with a CM and double checked and they said it was 100% 2015 rates. So I don't think they really have a clue what is going on right now, cause it clearly didn't change.
