Some dates back end of August are reasonable - a lot of schools seem to be back week of 7th Sept in 2015.

eg Manchester 23rd Aug back 6th Sept is justover £500 each

Not a route I study but a quick search suggests around £150 return.

Not sure if any of the low cost carriers do the route, if they do then possible cheaper fares.
After our cruise next month I got San Juan to Tampa for about £65pp one way and that's 3 times the journey length.

Would work out quite expensive for a family of 4 or 5 at £150 each. When you consider its a very easy car journey taking about 3hr 30mins, costing around $25-30 in gas.
