2014 spring break discounts

Does anyone remember what discounts were offered for spring break last year? Were there any room discounts?

We go at Easter week each year and the exact week leading to and including Easter Day was blacked out (I remember because the blackout was our EXACT dates!) All I remember is there were some sort of deals right around that week - because I tried to figure out a way to manipulate my dates so I could at least get some sort of deal on a few nights.

Not sure what your travel dates are so hopefully someone else can chime in as to if they got a deal in March or April since spring break nowadays covers a pretty wide span.

Yeah, Disney pretty much fills up for Easter week so there's no reason to offer any discounts then.

We were there for the first week of April this year and had the Stay, Play, and Dine promo. Basically rack rate for the room and kids prices for the tickets and dining plan. It was the best available at the time.

How about Easter Monday? I'm debating whether to rent DVC points and book now vs. waiting for a RO discount.
We only need 2 nights, Monday - Wed.
