Didn't see this till just now, but YES! We watched it.


My pick was Punk and when he lost out, Roman Raines.

Was excited to see Kevin Nash and sooo glad to see Sheamus back.

And I like Batista, just didn't want him for this win.

I noticed your name before but wasn't sure it meant pro wrestling or not.

I had tipped either Batista or roman for the win so I didn't do too bad, I also tipped the shield to start falling apart.

I have always loved Batista so I'm happy he won but I agree I think it's a little too soon.

Was super excited to see Shemus and Kevin Nash did not see them making the rumble.

They have set up some good feuds for wrestle mania will be interesting to see where they go.

I was at work. I am hoping to watch on my off day. They brought Kevin Nash back. I don't like him very much. Darn it Batistia cut off his hair.

Totally agree about batistas hair, not loving the fully shaved look.

I've been watching since I was 8 so 22 years, I remember the good old wcw days.

I didn't watch the rumble but I watch the weekly shows(and I can't wait for the WWE network so I'll once again be able to see ppvs). I am not happy about Batista's win but I knew it was coming. In his contract he was promised that he would be a main eventer from the start and this was the easiest way to do it. I'm not a fan of wrestlers who leave to do other things and then come crawling back when they don't do well.
I just hope the other matches at WM30 make up for him being in the main event(my husband got us tickets for Christmas to see it live).

Planning to go to RAW in NOLA the night after Wrestlemania.


Loved Kevin Nash way back in the WCW days.


We were excited to see the Shield break apart. Hoping to get to see more of Seth Rollins and Roman Raines as either singles or a tag team. Seth Rollins is a talented wrestler that hasn't gotten to show his talent much.

My favorite is CM Punk. and DD's and DH's is John Cena.

I knew Batista would win it is very typical of WWE to do that. His hair is probably because of his movie. I also think his upcoming movie is why he's back be prepared for them promoting Guardians of the Galaxy ALOT in the coming months.

UGH! Sounds like another Rock. I was sooooo tired of him by the time John Cena finally took the title back. And I used to love the Rock, but they just ran him in the ground.

I don't think Dave will have a career like the Rock lol I think he will most likely bomb in this movie. I am a comic book fan but this movie eh...I will probably go see it but really not looking forward to it.

Also Wrestlemania...Batista vs Orton..really? Like we haven't seen that before...

WWE creative has been a predictable bunch in the last decade or so. Of course Batista was going to win the Rumble. Of course Brock Lesnar was going to beat the Giant. Of course the audience was going to be let down at no Daniel Bryan in the Rumble match.

It was a horrendous event. The Bray-Bryan match was solid. They're some good actors, them two. But the Rumble event was such a dump.

Just a few weeks ago they bring back Jake the Snake Roberts. They very easily could have had him in the Rumble match as a surprise entry. But, nope, they have that El Torito character in the match.

And no Daniel Bryan, the biggest star WWE currently has.

At the very least creative could've written an injury for Bryan, to explain why he wouldn't be in the Rumble. He could've gotten "injured" during his match with Bray, and that'd be that.

The Philly crowd there last night was great. They definitely let WWE know they weren't appreciative of the slap in the face. They were even chanting for WWE Divas during the championship match. My word. WWE has not started 2014 on the right foot.

Oh, I am sure he won't. Rock is a great actor and used to be a pretty good persona for the WWE, he just got really tiring.

I like Batista so far so maybe it won't be so bad.

DS is our resident wrestling expert. He is/was an indy wrestler and have met quite a few folks in the WWE. He was really rooting for Roman Raines to win last night. He feels like Batista didn't need the push and is too old.

Raines vs Orton, I think, would have been one exciting match.

I wonder if he will take time off for his wedding and that may be why they didn't have him set up for a WM match. I guess we will see where the storyline takes us next.

Jake has recovered a lot from what I understand with the help of DDP. He has not only gotten clean but he is training because he wants to be able to make a return, albeit a short one, so that he could end his career on a better note. I think he may have a match at WM. Hogan's going to be involved with WM and Jake has to be in better shape than him. Vince would have never given Jake a legends contract if he didn't think they could use him in some way.

He doesn't have a strong storyline right now( although I heard the Wyatt/Bryan match was pretty great) because last I heard, he is first in line to be Undertaker's opponent at WM. Undertaker wants a match with him and typically he gets what he wants.

I completely agree. I hated the Cena/Rock storyline because I'm a huge Cena fan and I hated the way the crowd turned on him just because The Rock made a comeback to promote a movie. Cena may not be the most technical wrestler out their but he is a damn good one and completely devoted to the company and its fans which is more than can be said for The Rock.

He definitely won't have a career like The Rock, which is a good thing. That means after this run with the company he should pretty much be gone for good because he won't really have a need to come back to promote big movies.

And I completely agree. As much as I also don't like Lesnar I almost hope Orton drops the title to him at Elimination Chamber and then it can be Lesnar and Batista at WM. It's something that hasn't been done to death and if they are trying to push Batista as a face then I think the match makes more sense. Orton may be a heel but I rarely root against him and I know I'm not the only one. Against Lesnar the WWE would get the reaction they want.

Yeah, Jake has come a long way since he "retired" a couple years back. He's cleaned up a lot, and he seems to be in better shape than he was then. He's mentioned that he wants to wrestle again, so I can see him getting in the ring if he's determined enough, and deemed healthy enough.

Having him in the Rumble would've been great, though. He could've taken out some of the heels, and maybe had help from someone like Langston, who could use just a tad more of a push. Imagine Langston and Jake clearing the ring, only to be taken out by Reigns. It would've been solid and not too much of a demanding role for Jake.

If Hogan has a match, it will probably be some sort of tag match because chances are he won't pass the physical for a singles match. Piper definitely wants a match with Hogan but I'm not sure if his deal is finalized like Hogan is.

I love Daniel Bryan and I think a match between him and Undertaker would be amazing.

I agree about Nash, as much as I love him I just don't think he's in the condition to come back for a real match at this point.

I've also heard rumors about Steve Austin returning for WM but somehow WWE is always able to keep his comebacks a secret so if it happens no one will know about it until his music hits most likely.
