Yes- it's a per room deposit.

Maybe since the dining increase has been announced they will release package pricing soon!!! I'm shaking my head at the dining prices....while they didn't increase "that" much I just can't fathom paying for it.....my 11 year old is a Disney adult and he doesn't eat much more than my 6 year old. If we are lucky enough to get it free that's great but otherwise we'll just add our dining to gift cards!

Yesterday Disney Food Blog posted that the UK could now book for 2014 and get free dining and a $200 gift card. I really wish Disney could get US residents rates and deals ahead of time too.

Ugg! The article shows a seven plus dollar increase a day in the price of an adult standard plan!

I agree! My Dd is now 10 But eats very little for her age. So it looks like OOP for us. Like you, I think I will load some gift cards ahead of time that I will use while there for our dining. I like the convenience and also will be able to plan ahead and prepay. The gift cards will also make iit easier to keep track on what we spent for food only for future planning

I booked a package for this September so I could have a reservation # and make payments. I spoke with a CM on Thursday to make a payment and inquire about when I would be able to move my reservation to 2014 and she told me that they were finalizing detail and they expect them out the week after the 4th.
However, I will not hold my breath!

I talked to a reservation agent at runDisney last week. I booked my 2014 trip for the marathon, which is something only racers and internationals are able to do right now. I could not add dining, but she anticipated it around the time I call to add my flight. Southwest is rumored to have booking available through March next week and she anticipated next week for dining as well.
