2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival 9/19-11/10

The Parisian Breakfast is listed as "Les Chefs de France" and the detail said "F&W Marketplace VIP Access Chef Tour" on MDE. The price, date, and time are right, so I'm going with it! The 3D Dessert Party and PftS came up correctly under details on MDE.

Congratulations, wish i could just get thru. Been on hold since 7AM exactly and it is now 7:37AM which is a 37 min wait and not been taken care of yet. no doubt i will not get the one thing i want "Food for thought" program. GRR this is annual I think this may be my last time after this. Whoops as i am writing this someone is answering!!!!! fingers and toes are crossed. yes yes yes got it!!! sooooo happy because it is a looong trip to Florida. good luck to everyone else!!!!

Well you've answered my question that it WVL was available but it wasn't when I got through. So sad. I'm not sure how I can call on Thursday as I'm at work.

Oh no! I am so sorry. :( We were planning on calling Thursday if we didn't get everything today. I hope you get the events you want!

Uh oh. I just checked my VISA online and all three events are in pending for wDW charges. But I noticed that the cost for the Dining through the decades event was $209.32 and that can't be right for two people. Reserved seating was supposed to be $119 each. I bet I have general admission in error. Oh, well. If that is the worst thing that happens in booking all of this early with my VISA, I think I can live with it. I wonder how large of a group will be at the event? It can't be anywhere near as crowded as PFTS.

Total call time 42 minutes...thought I was going to die when she is trying to pull up my hotel reservation, can't figure out the number I gave her 3 times....then when I ask if I have to have a reservation to book, then moves to my phone number....name....how many "n"s is that....let me give it to you again....how many children do you have...when were your teeth last cleaned....etc....etc....etc....

Despite my stress levels going up as the call lagged, I was able to secure the reservation I wanted :) So, back to bed for me & I don't have to do this again on Thurs! :cool1:

Well no dice on the Italian Pairing Lunch, but not because it was sold out or the CM was no help. I was going off of the Disney Food Blog info which indicated it was Mondays, Wednesday, and Saturdays. The CM could find it, but it was showing only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. When I pulled up the official WDW site sure enough that is what it said. We're only there on weekends (doing the Disney Dream Mon-Fri) so that doesn't work for us. Otherwise I would have grabbed one of those days.

So if you have been using the Disney Food Blog to plan the days of your events, check the official website.

Good luck to everyone.

Thanks for the heads up. We had planned to book this on a Saturday, but I made changes on the fly.
I was able to get the Italian Regional Lunch Pairing, the Tequila Lunch and the Sake Pairing. No dice on the Hibachi Experience. I guess I'll try Thursday!
40 minutes total on the phone. Not too bad, I guess. Good Luck Everyone!

We had the wrong thing booked for PFTS last year and it was really hard to fix because WVL had sold out before we caught it. My advice to you is if you want the reserved seating try to fix it now before it is sold out. Good luck!!!

Glad you got through, too! I think this is the first time I haven't been disconnected at least once!

How much were you charged for the Tribute to Walt Disney reserved seating?

Those reserving PftS... Was reserved seating available? My wait time was almost 20 minutes and when I got through reserved seating was unavailable. Sold out or not being offered?

Anyone else stalking just to see if their events sell out for today ? If so I figure I can hang up. Considering both phones are over 40 min I think I got caught on the Disney phone queue version of "heck".

tried to get the CG for a Signature dining event but not available. guess it sold out immediately.

Only on hold for about 10 minutes and got six events but could not get the reserved seats for Walt Disney: Dining through the Decades. Will try again on Thursday. Mrs Beerman got through on her call about 7:30AM and was told the same thing. Booked:

- PFTS with reserved seating (10/18 and 10/25)
- Flying Fish reserve dinner (10/22)
- Italy Food and Beer pairing (10/21)
- Tokyo Dining pairing (10/23)
- Parisian Breakfast (10/18)

I called right at 7:00 and was on hold for about 35 minutes. I booked the two events that I wanted with no problems. I got the Parisian breakfast on 11/8 (Race day!) and the signature dining at Portobello Road.
The cm that I had was very nice and she had no problems pulling anything up.
Good luck everyone!

Don't forget to do the phone survey when you're done! My CM was great so I wanted to make sure I took the time to give her excellent ratings. She didn't make me listen to the speech about needing admission tickets, what to wear, etc. until I had all 3 events booked. Then I also only had to give her my VISA info once and she was able to put all 3 charges through for me without repeating my number. Very efficient!

Good luck to everyone still on hold! I am SO glad I won't have to be up on the 31st at dawn to be calling in for reservations.

Sounds just like the CM I talked to! Gave her wonderful ratings on survey!

Was anybody able to book any of the Culinary Demos that sold out during the AP/TIW/DVC presale? I'm wondering if they didn't save any for the Chase Disney prebooking, only for the general sale.

I think I'll try calling back a little later to see if I can fix it without a long phone wait. If not, I still have the event and can live with the lack of reserved seating. If it is like PFTS, there are tables available, just not quiet reserved seats if you didn't reserve ahead of time.

has anyone checked your MDE for reservations made? Mine for Dining Through the Decades, A Tribute to Walt was imported automatically as "Scotland: Land of Food & Drink". I hope I didn't just pay $125 for haggis. Was everyone else's imported correctly?

Yep, mine says the same thing! It does list the correct time and location as World Showplace and the price is right. Ugh!!! And, if we call back now, it will be hours before we get in to check it, and they won't know how to fix it! That's probably what was there last year at that time, though everything else, including the price is correct!

Total time from placing the call to getting reservations booked - 50 minutes! ....But I got everything I wanted, mostly beverage & culinary demos. Also, I had the nicest CM.

It's was a 40 minute wait time for me from the time I made the call @ 7:00 am. At least that's done and I will not have to call back on Thursday. Now, on to work and the real world.

I got reserved seating for 10/25. I was not put on hold at all, got through immediately.

Tommie: I was offered preferred for Walt but I wanted general. So they did have it.

45 min on hold and got one event I wanted (food for thought w/ Rick Bayless) but couldn't get the other (food for thought w/ Bryan Voltaggio). Debating whether I will try on Thursday. Also noticed the price was $10 higher than noted on the Disney Food Blog - but that might be the tax. Good luck to everyone still on hold!!
