2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival 9/19-11/10

dialed a few seconds too early, called back and into the queue with a more than 30 minute wait quoted. I sure hope this comes together this morning, as I can't do this again on Thursday...too hard to sleep knowing I have to be up at o-dark nothing & may still come up empty handed.

On two lines because I have learned the hard way Dismey phones have issues. Got through on line 1 at 7 but the idiot voice recognition system decided I said confirm a reservation

Let me go on record in case Disney reads this. I HATE your voice prompt system. You don't need to know my life history to make a reservation. And no the "witch " is not sorry when she can't understand a caller, she's a computer without emotions.

I got in right at 7, no wait. I said I was calling for the F&W festival and understood that Disney Chase Visa holders could call today. She knew exactly what I was talking about. I started by asking for the Mexican Tequila Lunch for 10/25, she found the event, but it was saying it isn't available. She said that didn't make sense so she was going to put me on hold to see what's going on. A minute later she came back and said "Voila!" So I have that booked. Now working on the Italian Pairing Lunch for 11/1...

If you attempt to call now, you receive the response "all circuits are busy"!

At least I'm in!!!

Called at 6:59am. Got message saying office closed. Called right back, got through, and was told by automated operator 30 minute wait...

Hoping I can book something with my Disney Visa....

got through and booked Dinning Through the Decades, A Tribute to Walt. now to patiently wait.

Pulled up My Disney Experience and it automatically pulled my reservation in, but it has it listed as Scotland: Land of Food & Drink? I hope they didn't charge me $125 for the wrong thing

It's a Food & Wine miracle!!! Unlike last year, I got through right away and booked both things we wanted: sweet seats at 3D and The Hibachi Experience!! :cool1:

Good luck to all those trying... may you get the awesome CM I did when you call! :goodvibes

They are booking the Party for the Senses and the Parisian Breakfast, along with the 3D Dessert Party. So it looks like it's the same from last year, when they only announced select events, but most are available for the Visa pre-book. Good luck everyone!

Good luck everyone!
I sadly can't call today as being in the UK I don't have and can't get a Disney Chase Visa Card :(
I have TiW, DVC and AP but still no dice for me
Hoping my friend in the US who does have a Disney Visa and is on hold right now can secure PFTS
Anyone managed to grab that yet?

I too got right in but agent could not find PFTS. Went on to book Hibachi Exp and then got cut off............... :headache:

Now back to listening to Disney music........

I got through in 5 minutes. Only to be told that they are booking only deminars and the 3D Dessert Party. Which is wrong!!! Aargh! Why can't they train their operators??

We want to attend Parisian breakfast more than anything else so I will ask for that first! On hold, keeping my fingers crossed.

Called several times right before 7 AM, got right in once 7 AM rolled around. No waiting and got all 4 of my events. The system was running really slow because there were so many calls, but I got everything and don't have to call back on Thursday. And, yes, I had to give my usual life history, but qualified it with saying I'm an AP holder and don't need to be told with each reservation that I need park admission, etc!

I was able to book: Dining through the decades, a tribute to Walt (reserved seating); Food for thought with Bryan Voltaggio; Parisian breakfast; and Sunday Mornings with Carla Hall. Everything appears to be listed in their system with the titles as officially listed on the official Epcot F & W site, so have those available to give the rep along with the date for each even when you book.

This is the first time I've gotten in so quickly, and without being disconnected! My rep was pleasant and got things done! That's also a first for me!
